They don't blind the backup camera?

They wash it out a little, but the brightness alone on the screen, kills more than the brightness of the lights.

Did you do a write up on this? I have been interested in doing this to mine for a long time. I just never have done it. I am currently at 113k miles. I plan on having the truck for a few more years. It can't hurt anything but give me peace of mind knowing I am doing something preventative.

i noticed after cutting open the filter after 300 miles it was clean, but i did see some steel filing and some gritty sand like material.  I'm currently doing a 5000 mile filter test , will post up what  i find.

I purchased the "bypass valve" from Frantz filters

Picked up a 10 pack of heavy duty, metal body LED's for $8. Tapped the dome light for interior. And for just under $50 I picked up the wiring harness for the bed lights and tapped it with some 8" COB LED's for the bed. gallery_167032_4679_161196.jpggallery_167032_4679_104630.jpg
Can you explain how you tapped into the dome light? This is a nice idea I've seen it done before but nobody ever really explains how they bring in the lines and hook it up. Thanks in advance
