My trip to the Honda dealership today.

I met my wife at the Honda dealership this afternoon to drop her Accord off for its second oil change and a tire rotation. I went inside to give them the keys and tell the guy that I would be back in a couple of hours to pick the car up. When I went back outside to leave there were 3 guys standing by my truck admiring it one being my sales guy. As I approached I jokingly said that there would be a 10 dollar fee for checking out my truck. All 3 started telling me what a beautiful truck it is. And after 2 rounds around the truck and a lot of talk about the truck, 10 minutes later I was leaving the parking lot. I have had several new trucks over the years but this one gets the most attention. I love this truck and even with the few minor issues I have had I feel like it is the best initial quality truck I have ever had, and the issues that I have had are more with the dealership than the truck. I have searched this truck inside and out for flaws and what I have found is minuet. Fit and finish is probably better than my BMW 5 series. I just wanted to brag a little and I hope everyone else is enjoying their truck as much as I am!

It's definitely a beautiful truck. I think it's the best looking truck out right now. I really love mine, but it's hard to keep loving it due to the issues I'm having, especially only a month into ownership. Hopefully the dealership can fix my chevy shake issue. Today I had an issue where I turned the A/C off and air kept blowing anyways. I had to turn it on and off again. Was weird.

You do know that there is a delay in AC. It takes a good minute for it to cycle off. This is really brilliant on Chevy's part because what it is doing is flushing out all the cool air that it has already created before turning off. Otherwise all of that cool air just sits in the AC unit doing no good for anyone.

I think they are over priced for what they are!

This is the first vehicle I've owned (not including my first car, '69 Camaro) that people have come up to me at gas stations or parking lots to compliment how nice it is. I think the late 90's Dakota's were the best looking trucks until the 2014 Sierras came out, and I think the Silverado is equally good looking now that they got rid of the stacked headlights.

Still love my truck after a year and a half. 35,000 miles and no issues other than a few cosmetic which were taken care of by my dealer.

Still get comments all the time on what a good looking truck this is. Just yesterday at the gas pump the guy in front of me had to stop and comment on it.

That's only because Honda doesn't sell any real trucks!

My truck usually attracts more admirers than flies to poop! They usually ask if the red 3D Silverado inset logo in the sports bar sail lights at night which gives me an idea for hooking up some LEDs to the panel.

Almost a year and no problems at all...... it is only going back next month for an inspection and the recent recall reprogramming.

I am still surprised by the number of compliments I receive on my truck. It is a stock SLE with a pretty common colour. I picked up a family of visitors from England at the ferry terminal last Sunday and they spoke of my truck like it was a tourist attraction!

Every comparison of mid sized (trucks) I've seen puts the ridgeline ahead of all (trucks). Not that I would buy one. But I would test it myself if I was in the market for a midsize.

It's not a real truck in my opinion lol.

If I was in the market for a mid-size truck I would def look into the Ridgeline. It has a lot of features that the other truck companies are scratching their heads at wondering why they never though of it. Had Ford or Chevy been half as creative as Honda with the Ridgeline you'd still see plenty of S-10's and Rangers out there. My biggest peeve with the Ridgeline is that god awful looking front end.
