How to improve ride quality?

I have 15 rally 2 with the 22" wheels, I can feel every bump i n the road. What shock/strut combo do you guys think would be best to smooth out the ride?

Smaller the sidewall the rougher the ride will be. Your tire sidewall is actually the first to take a bump, not your suspension. If you like the 22s too much then get new struts and rear shocks like Bilsteins or Fox.

With stock tires the 18s I have is the biggest I'd go. I like tire sidewall. The sidewall also helps when I've had to maneuver too miss someone that can't drive and the tire hits the curb. It's happened a couple of times in my '14 and all I got was curb rash on the tire. With 20s or bigger the rims would have gotten damaged or at least scratched.

I agree on the side wall but would like to keep the rims stock. What model bilsteins or fox?

My truck came with 18's then I put factory 22's on it and the ride suffered felt every bump. Then I lowered it 4/6 and sold the 22's and put my 18's back on and got my ride back. I recently traded my factory 18's for some factory 20's with 275/55/20 goodyear eagle sport. I'll admit the ride is better with the 18's but isn't bad with the 20's and I like the way they look as well.

1/2 ton trucks normally ride better actually because most cars (especially these days) run low pro tires and have a stiffer suspension,

What tire pressure are you running?

Lower will ride better -- especially in the rear if the truck is not carrying a load.

Lower pressure will require more caution when crossing 'sharp' edge potholes and similar.

I have 17" rims on mine and the stock Bridgestone duelers tires. If I went up in tire size would my ride be better?

I have bilstien 5100 on my truck. They are stiffer than stock. You might try to find a stock length belltech nitro drop shock. Those are very soft

Generally yes. If it has a stiffer sidewall then maybe not. The tire pressure has a lot to do with it too so if you get something you can ride with a little less tire pressure then it would help.

When I went from the stock SR-A to the 305/55R20 LT tires (stiffer) my ride remained about the same... maybe a tad better on normal roads with these larger tires, definitely better over large bumps and large holes.

Icon Stage 2 Kit. 2.5 front coilovers, 2.0 shocks for the rear, and UCAs.

As everyone else said, a 17/18" wheel will give you the best ride with the most rubber.
