2017 Silverado Fuel Range Screen

Hi - can anyone tell me what the half filled fuel pump and half filled "left" circle means on the Fuel Range Screen? photo attached

They appear to be in regards to the fuel level displayed in the "gas pump" on the screen as a signifier that the pump is a digital fuel level indicator.

That's what I had thought at first, but it still displayed the same levels while on an empty tank...

I thought it may have something to do with it being a capless fuel tank and the pressurization levels.

According to the information sticker on the fuel door, there are two openings you need to get through before you start pumping, so

I'm wondering if the two circles indicate whether the two openings are fully closed or not...thoughts?

I'll have to look on mine, but I think the empty and filled circles on either side of the pump are just static visual elements that do not change. It's part of the pump graphic.

the circle in the bottom left corner is for your cruise control, nothing to do with fuel level
