Android Auto vs. Apple CarPlay

Is there suppose to be an android auto setting in the settings menu? The dealer was suppose to have updated my radio to have android auto but I don't see that option and my android phone is not connecting to the truck. I only had apple play setting.

 

Yes. I talked to the online GM chat and they said that if the head unit has Android Auto it will show in up the Settings under Apple CarPlay. Mine does.

It's currently not possible to change the background image on AA. As for the voice, are you saying you want to change the voice prompts to something other than the female voice that responds to you? That's not possible either, you can only change the volume of it (her).
