Kicker Sub Question

Just installed mine tonight. It sounds awesome, gave me what I was looking for. Wasn't tough to install, took about 3 hours total.

Hardest part is getting the wire through the firewall. After that, it's all cake.

I have the kicker with speaker amp. It's not ridiculous but very happy with it. I used to have systems in other vehicles and miss it. But to answer the post question, not a waste of money and speakers are clear and loud. Just right.

Looks good. Did you get the AMP as well?

Thanks. Yes, I got the amp as well. I had the non-Bose system and this helped wake it up.

I've got the same setup with the liners as well. Fits, sounds, and looks good.

Just curious: Those of you with the Kicker sub, what do you have your settings set at for the Bass, Treble, and Midrange? Just trying to see what you have setup for "best sound."

Thanks!

Edit: Also, maybe include what genre of music you listen too as well.

This is how I have mine set up, settings are from center or "0"

Bass +3

Treble +5

Mid +2

I also have the fade +1 to rear.

Had my sub and seat taken out right before the truck went in for a 2-week hail damage repair. Got the truck back a few days ago and finally put the sub and seat back in again. Feels good to have some sounds again.

How come you had to take it out for the repair?

I was working on the Front/Rear Parking Assist Sensor Module. It is located behind the passenger side rear seat. I was digging into the module to explore the option of adding the front sensors since I already have back. I had the seat and sub removed, then got hit with hail damage. Got my truck back on Wednesday.
