2017 Silverado 5.3L Cold Air Inductions dyno run.

CAI installed on dyno, so no gap or delays between runs.

Scroll to 8 min mark to begin the stock dyno testing.

These engines really do seem to respond well to CAIs. Cant wait do all this stuff to mine.

Vlogging has gotten so annoying.

Yea I don't care for it either lol but people are making a living off it its crazy.

Big thing I noticed which you won't be able to do real world is have the hood open. That changes things a lot in my opinion. With this test the CAI is always getting cold air with the hood open. I would like them to do the same dyno run with the hood closed and let that intake get the engine bay hot air like in real world when your driving it. I did a real world engine bay closed test and my results did show a HP/TQ increase but it made the truck slower in the end. This is a nice looking kit and is closed unlike the K&N kit I tested.

Awsome results! Pretty amazing how restrictive the stock setup is. I did an AIRAID tube and high flow filter in the stock box. I wonder how it compares...

Have you ever taken off the stock intake plenum??? If so; show me the restriction.
