Why Don't You Turn This feature Off on Your Dumb Phone

Just curious why people don't turn this off.

From what I know it's a setting you can disable.

It's free adverting for the manufacturer.

Same as license plate holders and dealer stickers on vehicles.

I guess I'm nuts but I would turn it off.

That's if I had a dumb phone.

I often wonder what tapatalk is but I don't care what brand of phone people choose.  Having your own message at the end makes sense but advertising your phone is like leaving the tags on a new article of clothing!

Never really thought about it, but I do think about dealer labeling any of my new vehicles. I absolutely don’t allow it.

I don't use Tapatalk so it doesn't show up, but if I used tapatalk I honestly wouldn't care enough to turn the feature off. Complaining about it seems about as stupid to me as, well the feature itself.

That's the first thing I removed from my HTC10 same as the dealer stickers of my cars.  If they want to advertise on my personnal belongings then pay me for it.
