I'll try a couple different soaps to see what I get.

I will say that Jet Seal stuff is awesome.
Have you tried any different soaps yet?

That's right it's winter ain't it lol. Forgot other places other than California have actual winters.

I use an all natural chamois. Sometimes if I'm crunched for time I'll blow off all of the excess with my leaf blower and use the chamois on the rest. But as mentioned if you keep a good coat of wax on your truck that will help as well and generally make the task of drying much easier.

You need to try Optimum "No Rinse", you will not be disappointed. It's a sure way to avoid water spots. You can even add an ounce with your current soap to help the water sheet off your panels better so you don't have too many water spots.

My daughter likes the Meguiar's drying towel we picked out.  I haven't used it yet but she has.  We use Meguire's products, used the Deep Crystal Car Wash last time.

I use a leaf blower, I hate to touch the paint more than I have to... Keep a good sealant on the paint and it really helps..

I'll let you know if it ever stops raining lol

I just use big drying towel to mostly push off the heavy stuff then new unused yellow soft tack cloth to get the tiny spots.

But make sure you have it waxed good.
