BFG KO2 Noise?

Has anyone ran into an issue with extreme noise with these tires? I probably got 20k miles on them and suddenly they are stupidly loud above 60mph. Literally to the point that turning radio up doesn't even work--I wouldn't want to drive 3 hours in the truck.

I'm running 285/70R18.

I’ll take look tomorrow. Now that I think about it I bet that’s it. I’m going in Wednesday to have someone fix my Fox coilovers that 4WP screwed up and it’ll require alignment. I’m better the tires are not wearing evenly.

I didn’t think about that LOL.

Mine have like 45K on them and they have been obnoxious for quite some time. This is my first set of KO2s but BFG in general get pretty loud around 20-30K in my use, although these seem louder. Maybe it's me but these don't seem to balance as well and seem to make more noise.

Mine are quiet and have some miles on them. Much quieter than the old KOs

Mine were quiet as can be for a long time. We took multiple 16 hour drives to Texas and never had issue. Now they are so loud I want to stay home. I’ll report back after my shop visit. I’m beginning to think they are out of balance or alignment is off. Wouldn’t surprise me considering problems I’ve had with my coilovers since 4WP installed them.

Had them one two vehicles and would say they are very quiet for an aggressive AT. I have Nitto Ridge Grapplers now which are definitely louder.

I bet that they have uneven wear.   I bought a used set and they have a little uneven wear and they have a little bit of noise but as I put miles on them they are getting better.

It’s mainly my front left tire. Truck gets dropped off today and I’ll pick it up next Monday when I get home from vacation. Hopefully all goes back to normal.

Make sure you're not confusing tire noise with a bad hub.

Less than 10K miles on mine and still sound the same, quiet.

It sounds like tire road noise. It only becomes noticeable at 50mph or higher. It changes tones based on road surface. Wouldn’t bad hub be more of high whine?

Eh maybe could be it. Would suck for only having 37k miles on truck.

Mine are stock size with about 10k miles on them. Going slow through town, they're noticeable. Cruising at 40+, I really have to listen to hear them. I'm curious to see if they get louder as the miles rack up.

I’m getting tires rotated right now before it goes to the other shop. I’m interested to see if it stops.
