Pics of leveling kits with stock wheels

I’m toying with the idea of the same tire size but highway treads, but I only did the 1.5” Suspension Maxx on my Denali... Do you think it would clear? What’s the clearance like in yours? If not, I may get some strut spacers from SM and lift it the rest of the way just like you have.
Thanks

I do not think they would clear. Mine scrub when turning left and scrub pretty bad in reverse in either direction at 1/2 to 3/4 lock. Not to mention and undulation and turning. I’m having the 4” Fabtech lift installed this week to help. I still heard it scrubs when it flexes with this kit. We’ll see. Love the tire but it’s almost a 35” tire. Good luck to you

That’s good to know, yeah I knew it would be a heck of a stretch... Full lift it is then! I’ve seen a couple of trucks with that lift and it looks fantastic! Best of luck, and thanks for the quick reply [emoji106]

I installed the Readylift tubular upper control arms and spacers this weekend on my 18 Denali. Raised the front end 2.25" Stock rear with stock 285-45/R22 Bridgestones (for now).

Love the new stance and the ride it great.

I had intended to use another company's (suspension maxx) relocation brackets for the magneride (Readylift doesn't make one) however after installation, the thicker tubular UCA placed the ride sensors right back in the stock position. No relocation bracket needed.

I couldn't be happier with the new setup.

Wouldn’t recommend that. Spend the money on a real lift kit 4-6”. You’ll be cursing yourself for getting a cheapie “lift kit” which is just a glorified leveling kit. You’ll thank me when your not cursing ride quality and replacing front end components prematurely

Which 4in kit do you recommend without spending $1800+? Also, I have a company car so the truck may only be drivin a few times a month. Thanks..

  • 2 weeks later...

I wanted to keep mine looking close to stock, but a little nicer. Didn't want a big lift or big tires. This truck is my tow rig to get my SxS back and forth to the trails which includes towing through the hills of KY and TN in winter conditions. I leveled it with a 2" Rough Country kit and went with some Cooper 275/65R18 AT3 4S tires on the stock wheels. I never have more than a few hundred pounds in the bed, and my 12' tandem axle trailer with electric brakes with the SxS is only about 3000 pounds, so I didn't feel the need to go with something rated for a lot more weight than the stock tires. I think these will work well for my needs, plus they are severe snow rated which should easily cover everything we get around here.
