It was also a 10 bolt axle.  I don't know how much stronger the 12 bolt g80 may be, but the 12 bolt axle is MUCH stronger.  That is the housing, gears and axle shafts, plus it's semi floating.

Makes me hope my 14 bolt holds up.

My 14 bolt on the 97 has 208k and is all original. I run synthetic gear oil and do not do burnouts. It’s seen heavy towing when new and 3500lb towing since 150k along with daily driving. Still works great ?

What fluid do you run?  I need to change mine and I am always up for suggestions.

I opted for Amsoil severe gear oil. Heard a lot of good things about it.

You won't be disappointed.  I use Amsoil or Redline exclusively in my diffs.  Actually, I only used Redline in diffs with Detroit lockers.  They make some very heavy oil that helped soften the popping inherent to that type of locker.  Amsoil severe gear is my go to diff fluid.

Same button, hold down longer.

edit: since you have a 2011, I have no idea.  Probably the same method as the K2XX platform.

Negative, I have a 2018 6.2. I'm guessing my profile shows my old 2011.

G80 is the RPO code so just look-up your list in the clove compartment, you could also have a G81 full locker

As yet another nearly 50 year old hooligan, this never gets old. The drift seen here is due to road surface slope.

Nice little burn out, longer than the first, but this time dead on straight. I don't get it.

It's a long list. Tire pressure difference is a possible but more likely the road itself varies in grip from foot to foot and even with the axle locked it will pull to the side with the most grip. Tire is only part of that equation. Wheel weight is affected by slopes of even a degree and wheel weight is a major in the friction calculation. Could be as simple as the G80 needs some speed for the fly weights to engage the ratchet so one wheel gets a head start. This stuff drives chassis tuners nuts at the strip.
