door lock

I am hoping someone may have an idea as to what is wrong, I installed tow mirrors this weekend which was not as bad as I thought it would be, after everything was done I checked to make sure everything worked ,which it did but for one thing if I hit my lock/unlock switch the doors all lock and unlock but the front passenger side door, the lock button goes up but you can not open the door from the inside . Any help would be great thanks

There is a cable that goes to the handle to the latch which probably is not in place. There is a ball at the end of the cable that goes into place and clicks into the handle mechanism.

I agree. I missed this on the re-install of the door panel and had the same issue. I had the cable in place, but the white nylon keeper was not locked in so I had to pull the door panel again.

If it opens from the outside but not the inside, you missed the cable to the handle.

I like doing my projects over again!  Reminds me of high school! ;-)     It sounds like you're getting excellent advice and that it is a simple fix.

I too love to take it apart over and over , that's what it was the cable came loose . Thanks for all the input
