Got the wiring done on Wednesday.. they are bright!!

That's looking real good. Can't wait for mine to arrive. Hopefully next week.

 

I'm also contemplating doing what you did with the air scoops in the lower gills, but in amber. If I add the leds in going to tie them into the rock lights I'm also considering installing.

Thanks! Yeah I love them. The amber looks really good. I'm not sure if you saw my previous posts, but those leds I added have a flowing amber when I use my turn signals and also when I use my hazards. And I am trying to decide on some rock lights as well.

I tied them in to the DRL so I don't have to do anything for them to come on or flow with the turn signals.

What did you use?

Yeah glad you guys like it. Thanks! Just pay attention to the direction and side you use them on. And yes I used vinyl wrap on it.. I've need to redo it though. It's tough to get those inside corners really good.

I'll try to post pics tomorrow but the brackets attach on the same bolts as the hood. Sandwiched between the hood and the hoods brackets.

I will try to find the link soon. I bought them on ebay for just a couple bucks. I really like them, however, they are a bit more yellow than amber.. I'm going to try to tint them slightly, possibly with an amber tiny.. don't know if it will work. Mounting was simple, drilled a hole through the four brackets where the lights are located and wired to my drl.

Just got back tonight actually from a nice 25ish mile trail today. Got a nice panorama shot.. idk if it will load right..
