I used a real small bit, if I remember correctly 7/32nd. The screws were fine from the kit but you have to hand tighten an impact drill would strip the head. There’s a small strip of rubber around the outer edge that keeps the trim off the slightly off the fender.

I don't know how I missed your post from back in October.  I'm glad it was quoted the other day.  I've been drooling over those fender flares and will be ordering a set soon.  Thanks!

Hello just got a 2019 RST this being my first vehicle worth anything I’m seeing a lot of talk about different types of tint I thought a tint was a tint what other types is their. I also have a fair amount of chips on the bumper already what are your guys suggestions on getting it corrected and then the best possible ways to prevent any imperfections coming back any input at all helps as I am fairly new to this.

also upgrades so far… line-x, and the gm floor mat for the rear

Congrats on your new truck! I have the same year and trim. The best tint you can go with is ceramic tint. It's much more efficient at blocking out heat. But it does cost a bit more. I got a great deal on mine though. Most places will charge around $600 to $800 for full ceramic. I got mine done from my usual guy for $400. Limo all around, limo strip on wind shield and the lightest film on the entire front wind shield to help with heat.

For the bumper and or your entire truck, go with a PPF. It's similar to vinyl wrap but a thicker, more protective film that is clear. That will maintain your stock color. You can also go with a matte type that again is clear but adds a matte look.

Hope this helps!

Just curious, did you install that rear block? If so, any pictures?

Sorry about the late reply. I did. First two photos are after the 1" rear block install, the last two just the front Bilstein leveling shocks.

What did I do to my truck today?  Well I finally found it at a dealership in another state, so I drove there and finally after months of waiting have my incredible 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 Carbon Pro with the 6.2L and tech package. These trucks are amazing.

If he doesn't come through for you, you can buy mine.  I have them packaged and ready to go.  Just send me a PM.

Thanks.  His don't look like the faux (digital) wood that I already have, they look like the actual wood grained trim inserts.  If yours are the actual wood grained trim inserts let me know and Ill take them off your hands.

I didn't catch that.  I thought all the "wood grain" interior accents had the silver mesh grid in them.  Mine have that mesh, so you won't be interested in them.
