So I just got my LTZ Z71, and I’m toying with the idea of putting the 4x4 sticker on the bed. It almost feels like it’s missing something when looking at the back of the truck. But I’m not sure how I feel about having a Z71 badge and a 4x4 sticker. Will I just get used to nothing on bed? I’m so used to seeing stickers on the bed in previous generations. Anybody else had similar thoughts or anyone have any feedback? Thanks!

I was gonna put a trail boss sticker on my RST after I lifted it with kings, lol....just so some dude driving by would recognize silverados and wonder how I got an RST trail boss...but decided against it.....have just stk 4x4 on and its fine, I don't mind stock badging

Ha! I was thinking about doing the same thing if I end up buying the GM factory trail boss lift. Technically it sort of would be a LTZ trail boss ?

Waited and searched for this truck. Crew cab with a real 6.5' bed. Not the stubby 5.5' bed that most are coming with nowadays.

Window Tint: 50% with 8" strip across top of windshield

Lift: Motofab 3" leveling strut spacer

Exhaust: MBRP 2.5" cat-back exhaust. I went with a system because it retained the factory tubing diameter in hopes of gaining a 'mature' sounding exhaust but man was that a mistake. For some reason this MBRP system DROOOONES! Like, BAD!. It sounds like a 16 year old kid just found his fathers hacksaw and went to town on his exhaust pipe. I will most definitely be swapping it out for another system once I hear some real-world examples.

Wheels: 17 x 8.5 Method Double Standard rims with 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country RT tires. The wheels did contact the front brake caliper just a hair so I had to add 1/4" wheel spacers to achieve proper clearance. I would definitely go with a 35" tire next time though, I just got a SUPER killer deal on 5 of these wheels.

Styling: USA Flag tailgate letters look pretty slick!

Next up: Fox suspension on all 4 corners, Camburg Racing upper control arms, Deaver leaf pack and Baja Designs 30" light bar.

Follow up when you get the fox/camburg install done. I’m looking to do their at4 kit and wonder how it would sit.

I will for sure. I actually went with the Baja Kits boxed upper arm. Their Black Friday deal was too hard to pass up. Once I get the upper arms and Fox coilovers installed I'll do a full build thread and post here.

Any word when Fox will release their kit? They told me a date a while back but we have passed said date... They did tell me one of their kits will be a 3.5” Coilover lift which will be nice!

No I haven't. And truthfully, I'm waiting for Baja Kits to release their stock length full fabricated lower control arm before I buy shocks to ensure I get the proper length for the increase in travel. Hopefully by then Fox will have their kit together.

(Nice profile pic. Raced a couple Mountain Creek GRT downhill races in my day)
