I have been debating on getting a full system,  just new muffler and delete flapper and cover screens or muffler delete like you, could u post a warm start with some revs when you get a chance pretty please?

I'll try to grab a video when I get home today.

Installed my early Christmas present lighted bowtie. Pretty cool, and didn’t take but maybe 15 minutes to put in. I was able to do it from the top and run the wiring fine, all without pulling the grill!

Nice.  Mine's been sitting in my garage for a month.  I was dreading pulling the grille off.  So, you just took the upper plastic cover piece off was was able to reach in behind the grille?  Did you get the wiring secured so it is out of view?

Where did you get the emblem? Very sharp.

Shopchevyparts.com

After the 5% off special they seem to run indefinitely, and shipping it was $209 and some change. I couldn’t find it any cheaper.

Yup, two T15s to pull the hood release handle, pop all the pins out of upper radiator cover, and that was all the room I needed. It was tight around in the intake “scoop”, but I was able to get it around and follow the other harness up. (think it’s for the front camera but not 100%, might be for active shutters even though I don’t have em)...anyway, the upper cover has what looks to be a cutout for a second harness alongside the camera harness so I tied it off alongside it. Think this is how it was designed but I never bothered to find instructions for the thing and it looks right to me...

Then I just found the hole in the inner fender to bridge the rest of the harness over to the headlight. Slide the red lock tab back, squeeze and unplug the headlight wire, put the new harness in between and reconnect and re-lock everything.

The harness has retention clips pre-attached so it’s just a matter of finding where on the shroud to clip it where it won’t be easily seen. But truthfully, you ain’t gonna see the harness no matter what since it’s set back, and the grill openings are so small. Good luck.

Used my gm points and bought a bed mat. I know I know I already have a spray in but it’ll help with some additional protection

Put some vinyl on the Bowtie. Cut it a bit short on one side, but whatever. Still looks pretty good.

Ordered these to replace the chromies.  Looking forward to putting them on. (Only going to replace the Silverado emblems—I’m going to remove the Custom emblem completely)

And ordered this.
