Floor mats

My only complaint about my Weather Tech is how it fits in front passenger footwell. Floormat by door along cab wall doesn't fit tight. There a big gap between floormat and kick panel. Like there is a bend in sidewall.

I have Weather Tech front and back form fit kind and what David said I have same problem too, may have to use a heat gun maybe to form bend it.

I really like my GM floor liners. There's no snow where I live and rain isn't a big issue so the cut out under the gas pedal doesn't bother me at all. Now if you live somewhere with snow definitely buy something else besides the GM ones.

I haven't tried heat gun, but I had it out of truck on hot summer day on my concrete driveway with a large concrete block on top of area for a day and still same thing.

Another vote for Husky Liners. I had Weather Tech in my 2016 and I found the Husky Liners to fit better and I hope they stand up better as well.

Husky are the best, they have more grip, rubber like, weather tech fit well but are slippery more plastic like.

If you get the Husky product be SURE to buy the X-act Contour floor liners only. The X-act Contour is made from a much more pliable material than their weatherbeater floor liners. The weatherbeaters are more comparable to the weathertech floor liners and are made of that same cheap feeling/slippery and hard surface plastic material that has constant edge curling problems. Husky X-act Contour is the proper choice if you want the best. 

Now just to clarify they are NOT perfect. I bought a set in 2015 and the drivers side edge has separated a bit. I can get it replaced but I have to pay to ship them back for the warranty. I just got a RMA number and I am looking for a box to ship them back in right now between keystrokes LOL.

A lot of the aftermarket crap looks just like that...aftermarket crap.  No chance those Husky liners would ever show up in any of my vehicles - I'm not here to advertise for some random company while running a product that doesn't look like it belongs.

 

I see no issue with the GM full floor liners.  Haven't dealt with snow yet but carpets don't seems to pick up anything under them.  I don't imagine snow being an issue and they fit well.  At under $200 for the whole truck it is a no brainer IMO.

I have had the weathertech digital cut floormats in my last Silverado and last 2 Tacomas. They worked great, although a little pricey.  My 2018 came with the GM factory floor liners that are, in my mind, better than the weathertech. Only reason I think they are potentially better is they are easier to clean.  And, they look very classy with the Chevy logos on them.

I have the GM liners, around work we call them "weather-tech style". Another guy has weather-tech in his 06 and they have curled and do not fit well anymore, the GM ones are more rubbery than plastic so they are softer and wont curl. Keep in mind too, if you go with weather-tech the lifetime warranty is not valid if you buy them from Amazon.

I bought Husky specifically, because I got a deal on some lightly used ones.  I would have been equally happy to pay the same money for the GM floor liners.

 

"Advertising" was the last thing on my mind when selecting floor mats.  My two main priorities were coverage, and price.  I don't care too much what they look like, as long as they are black.  I don't care if they have stripes, or diamonds, or turd emojis molded into them.

Husky X-ACT Contour  are the best hands down IMO. Lifetime warranty as mentioned.

Let us know how the salt stains are under the gas pedal. No protection there.. That's enough for me to stay away from the GM liners.

That is my only complaint about my GM liners, the same style for the Colorado/Canyon do not have the notch by the pedal so I do not understand why they did them different on the full size trucks.
