how do you like the icons? I know someone else on this forum had issues with them and ended up switching to kings or fox... cant remember which

I really like them, having the CDC Adjustment really makes a night and day difference also. I've had zero issues or complaints with any of their products !

Nice truck!

I’m happy with my delta joint UCA’s and 2.5” Kings with rezzies.

Curious how the icon shocks compare...also wondering who makes them for icon?

Icon manufactures all of their shocks in house in So. California

Love this truck. Few questions on a couple of the mods.

That skid plate is it aluminum or stainless? Does it use factory mounting positions? (no drilling required?)

I've never seen those light mounts before I've been searching for a option to mount some lights in that area but all I kept coming up with was the ZRoads Hood hinge brackets.  I guess my mistake was looking for hood mount and not A-pillar (although those really aren't mounted to the a pillar) These look like they mount under the wiper cowl and don't move when you open the hood like the ZROADs correct?  they say on their site "With our brackets there is no need to cut or trim the cowl like you do with other kits on the market. All brackets are designed to work with OEM Hardware." But then show a picture of a modified cowl panel that they sell as a addon?  How do those little cowl pieces come off?

Appreciate it !

The SDHQ Skid Plate is aluminum, no drilling required however you do have to remove the lower frame brackets so the skid can fit properly on the truck. These can be cut off using a cut off wheel, which ended up being fairly easy.

In their tech notes they note purchasing a new bolt, very much recommend doing this as this tip allows you to install the skid plate without removing the bumper at all ! The bolt can be sourced at any local hardware store.

The SDHQ brackets mount off the cowl/fender bracket found underneath the cowl cover. The cowl pieces are just clipped in using standard GM body clips and pop right in/out. The brackets are really high quality and the 3/16" material and mounting points they use makes sure the light does not vibrate or move at all even with running these heavier lights.

For the skid plate, did you have to cut anything off?

Lower brackets hanging off the bottom of the frame rails, these serve no purpose and end up just being in the way.
