Looks awesome!! Nitto are even alittel bigger than most. Any rub on that setup? Did your gas mpg drop?

275/70r18 BFG K02's on 1.75" spacers.  Slight rub on reverse at full turn, not enough to do anything about.

No rubbing what so ever... haven’t checked the mpg’s yet Just got them two days ago

Those look awesome!!! Those are what I want, but I'm concerned about the weight. Any seat of the pants difference with acceleration or braking?

I'm on the fence between these and the Cooper AT3 XLT in the same size. The Cooper is less aggressive in appearance, but are 8 pounds lighter.

Anyone put 295/70/18 on a AT4 yet? I'm wondering if they'll fit as have heard the wheel well opening is smaller.....

Honest I wouldn't worry too much about the weight.  I'm running MT Baja MTZs that weight 69 lbs each along with rims that weigh 38 lbs each and my truck still launches with no issue.  I have not really noticed any loss of acceleration quickness

I had seen his truck on fb and also want this tire size on my AT4...i would like the mastercraft m/t as they are 62lbs and 34.25x12.

There is another AT4 here that was running 35x12.5 tires with no leveling kit. Let me see if I can find it.

Okay so here it is.@destrada127 hope you dont mind. So here are the pics from that thread. He was running 35x12.50r20 Accelera MT-01 which according to tire-easy.com they measure out 34.5” tall the width I couldn’t find, on carid.com it also states they are 71lbs. He mentions he trimmed the mudflaps but that it was unnecessary. I believe later on he added a 1.5" leveling kit. On the pic the tire seems to be less than 34.5" but perhaps he can chime in and give us the actual number. 


The red AT4 is my buddy’s with a 5.3 and running 33x12.50r18 he also has no rubbing and those are 12.7” wide however they are much only 33” tall according to tiresize.com the reason i included them is because they are 72.6lbs and his truck came with them from dealer. Buddys at4 mpgs are around 12.5-13 so the weight did hinder his numbers as my stock AT4 5.3 with duratracs 49lbs tires are netting me 15.3-16.2 and we do similar commutes as we leave nearby each other and work together.

Everything written above is accurate. The tires off the rim, unmounted, measured out to 34.5" but after mounting and on the vehicle they measure out to 34" exactly and only 9.5" wide (footprint). The trimming was unnecessary while running the stock wheels, however, I have since upgraded to new wheels 20x9 -12 offset which did require quite a bit of trimming. I guess those 295x70r18 (34.3x12) on our AT4's might be too tight. I wanted to order the tires online as the deals our cheaper however I feel that I may need to test fit them instead at a tire shop prior to purchasing. 

 

Your AT4 looks amazing by the way. The leveling kit and front bumper has definitely added to its monstrosity . Love where you added the AT4 emblem on the front.

I suspect the measurement of that tire only being 34 inches is because it was measured vertically, with the bottom part of the tire being mashed under the weight of the truck. A more accurate measurement would have been horizontally and would likely be the true measurement. As you said, it measured 34.5 prior to installation.

 

Though there wasn't much room to spare, you definitely proved that a 35x12.5 tire could fit, depending on the brand. So, I'm comfortable knowing it can be done.

 

My truck isn't here yet, so still have some time to ponder.

It can be done as long as you're on a stock rim if you do aftermarket rims it becomes much more difficult.

got 305/55x20 BF Ko2 All terrains on my AT4 with the stock 20's.  no rub except for when there is caked on mud in the wells so it's close.

      We have now!  2027 GMC Sierra  Early look, but I'm a GMC guy and so far I think I like the looks of the Chevy better.

      HD at the moment, are kinda their own deal.  How LTZ sells on those vs on 1500, there is a difference.   They are merging most of the mid trims on 1500.  LT, RST and LTZ are replaced by one trim, Silverado.  LT and RST are a BIG portion of sales.    Bad naming choice aside, the new Silverado trim will offer the spread of options that those three trims offered.  So expect to see things like the tech package for example, and memory seats.  And LT Trail Boss will now just be "Trail Boss" (formerly LT Trail Boss) but will offer content spread like the new Silverado trim will.  The press photos showed the Trail Boss (formerly LT Trail Boss) has access to Super Cruise now, which on the current truck was High Country only.       Here is the Trail Boss interior.  Memory seats and Super Cruise are present.  All things the LT Trail Boss it replaces, and the RST it was based on didn't get on the current gen.  You had to go to LTZ or ZR2 for memory seats, and High Country for Super Cruise.

      I installed a Hellwig rear sway bar on my 21 Sierra SLT, it made a huge difference on how the truck handles, no body roll, the trucks much more planted now. Not sure of the suspension differences between the 21 and 26,  if its body roll your having a sway bar will solve it.

      So a follow up and my fix. I found in online searches the live data to look at on a scan tool to verify the fuel tank pressure sensor was working.  It showed an spec number towards the lower end of the rang, but in spec.  Then while it was running opened the gas cap and the pressure should change.  It didn't change even a tiny bit.  The data for the purge valve said it was open...never changed. So then I measured the voltages on the plug for the fuel pressure sensor and they matched what it should be.  So local car quest parts had the sensor in stock...it was a bit of a pain to remove and an even bigger one to get it to actually go back in.  It helped to unbolt the driveshaft and bungie cord away from the gas tank to give a bit more room to work. So fuel tank pressure sensor in I cleared the code, and started it up.  I went to the scan tool's live data and... Eureka! The pressure number was different and fluctuated a bit.  So took it on a short drive and pressure number varied saw the purge valve go from closed to open and back to closed.  Drove it to and from work for roughly a week plugged in the scan tool no codes.  I took it in to get tested and passed.  In my state's infinite wisdom (oops meant greed), since I pushed the test with the maximum extensions I have to take it back in by Feb '27 to 'get it back up to date', then my next test won't be until Feb '29.
