No and No.

Not only from a mechanical and dimensional standpoint..... but electrical wiring differences/BCM etc.

If you want one that bad just trade up.

Can I just ask why? ?

Because he wants too. No seriously I wouldn't mind having that myself but I don't think it will fit without serious modifications. I swapped out my SLT's stock gauge cluster with the Denali cluster because it just looks better (to me) and has some really nice configurations.

Interesting idea.  Like the others who have responded,  I don't know if it would fit.  Maybe take some measurements at your local gm dealer.  I  suspect that the new one is larger.  If the dimensions are the same then any differences in hardware or electrical should be manageable.  The cost when compared to the benefit may be the greatest hurdle!

If you ask me that gate won't last 5 years . Too many moving parts.

That’s my thinking as well. How well will that tailgate do in the Midwest/Northeast? Especially as miserable as this winter has been between snow/ice. I’d be curious how they hold up

I wonder if you couldnt put a new bed on an old frame. Pretty sure I saw a guy put the 08 bed on a 14+ frame. And Im sure someone can make a conversion harness.
