I've had an annoying rattle coming from the rear seat area since I bought the truck. It took me a while to pinpoint exactly what it was and I've since discovered it's both rear seat headrests. The sounds goes away when I remove them both.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same?

I heard something today for the first time and couldn’t figure out what it was. Maybe this is it!

Took mine in early last week.  It's the actual grommets/guides that hold the headrest into the seat.  They are replacing them on Tuesday, so hopefully that'll fix it.  Another member on here had the same issue.  If you really don't want to go through the hassle of all that, you could probably wrap electrical tape around the shafts that go in the guides a layer at a time until they fit tight and see if that fixes it.

Yep, have the same issue. Initially thought it was the cable for the rear slider, but low and behold, pulled the headrests and it stopped.

Interesting, I'll have to take mine in and hopefully they do the same. In the meantime I just put them in backwards and the rattle is gone for now.

Same thing on my RST with leather. I thought it was my kid’s booster seat, but nope.

Glad to know where it’s coming from now. Thanks for reporting it!

Took my Denali into the dealer for same issue & they pulled the headrest out & gently pulled the bars further apart. No issues since & something that can be done yourself. Figured it might save some time for some.

I have had mine 2 weeks and kept hearing a rattle over certain bumps been saying I am going to take it back to service.  I figured out today this is what it is.  How did you remove them?

Picked mine up 3 weeks and noticed it the first day. Have appt at dealer on Tuesday. Hopefully they fix it. Very annoying!

I had the same thing but it was the rear seat, it wasn’t latched in the back completely. The back of the seat folds down once the headrests are removed.
