We got 2 more inches overnight, 25 degrees. We won't reach 40 degrees today.

We are at 9200 feet in Colorado. We can have snow in June. Took the boat out for the first time this year on Monday, nice day. Lake is 8700 feet in elevation.  Started snowing yesterday afte

By 0300 precip ended was 25F. Overcast and foggy here. We’ll hit 45 today. Snow was evaporating early this am. We might have gotten 6”.

We had a high of 34 yesterday.  Light snow on and off all day, 1 -2 inches maybe as it melted some. Our view west of what we call the Red Rocks has been obscured since Friday. Got a glimpse yesterday, see pic.

Fogged in now, visibility about 500 feet and 30 degrees with a high in the 40's. 

Not complaining, moisture is great. 

I guess we have gotten over 2 feet of snow since Friday night. We are snow bound due to the county hasn't plowed our road. The snow was so deep when I plowed with the ATV I couldn't push it across the road so it is piled up at the end of the driveway. I kept getting stuck if I tried to push the snow across the road to keep the end of the driveway clear so we are waiting on the county to plow the road and remove the snow piled up at the end of the driveway. 

Fun times in the rural mountains.

Here in Texas we had a front move through. Got much needed rain about 3 inches. The morning low was all the down to 69 with the high only in the mid 80s. A jacket was briefly needed. 😎

I lived in California for 7 years. At first not dealing with winter was nice. Then it got boring to me. Yes, sometimes it's a hassle but we love it.

If my wife wasn’t so anti cold I’d be your neighbor. From June until October it’s not boring with eyes towards the gulf. At least October until mid May you couldn’t ask for better weather. Unless snow is a must.

We had light rain yesterday, snow yesterday evening and they plowed our road after an email to the county. Woke up to another 7 inches of snow and it's 29 degrees. More plowing and shoveling, not complaining.

Weatherman says we are going to get some spring weather, warm up. 25 degrees 1 inch of snow this morning.

No winter here, 70's at night 80's day for now, going to get hotter.  We are in a moderate drought.  Lucky I have a shallow well just for the sprinklers.  We got this house three years ago and a sprinkler system is nice.  Just that I had to go back over a bunch of the sprinkler heads, take them out, clean out all the iron that built up and put them back in.  Not to bad of a job.

We had another cold front ( their words) with much needed rain. 58 this morning. Heat wave coming later in the week. I can’t water the lawn during lack of rain. Being surrounded by woods it brings out moles and armadillos tearing up the lawn. The grass bounces back quickly anyway it’s pretty hardy .

We have moles.  Hard to get rid of those little things.  It is also illegal to kill them, which makes no sense. They are everywhere, such an invasive little devil.

We have large aggressive voles up here and they are our natural drainage and venting off of water into this arid ground.  Moles in that Cape Fear River drainage are probably making it naturally more flood resistant.

      Because that is IDIOTIC, much like this question. They've already been forced to do it by past administrations - why would you roll that back when it's a GOOD thing?  WHO IS ARGUING FOR LOWER MILEAGE???? 😂  NOBODY IS!!   I'm certainly not! What I want is RELIABLE vehicles again that are worth the price paid!    I don't get your logic here ...   In 2003 I paid $2,200 for our '86 Grand Marquis. It's STILL running and I've never been inside the engine, aside for the timing cover since it was leaking, so I threw a new timing set in since that makes sense. Transmission is ORIGINAL. Electric pump in the gas tank is ORIGINAL. Rear end is ORIGINAL. I'd have to hit my head REAL hard to want to pay $60k or more for a car that still can't come close to the comfort, seating and storage space, or reliability of this one. Nothing is even in the ball park! Hundreds of thousands of brands and models have been built and sent to the crusher while this one keeps on going!   https://postimg.cc/Z9XRrCSg   I've got a whole fleet of cars, motorcycles, and a truck close to this age for summer and winter. No one could pay me enough to buy anything built this century. I have zero use for any it.

      Since I'm the one who has to fix them when they break, I'll take vehicles over 30 years old all day, EVERY day, over ANY modern crap. Have you attempted any repairs on anything built after 2006? It's a friggin nightmare, and gets worse the newer the model year.    If I had the will or desire, I can make any car of any age outside of a Model T (I don't have THAT much will ...) just as powerful, comfortable, and have all the tech the new stuff does, and get pretty close in mileage, too. I prefer SIMPLICITY. The less the vehicle has, the less to fix WHEN it breaks, not IF.   I'm glad you snot-nosed punks don't like them. More for us, plus that keeps the prices from climbing more than they already have.👍

      Bringing this thread back on topic. I just noticed the incredible lack of bright chrome across the entire new lineup. Even the Denali has tinted the brightwork in the grille and has none elsewhere. None of them have chrome bumpers. As far as I can tell there aren't even chrome mirror caps. I'm curious if this also happens out back? Are there no chrome rear bumpers either? This is quite the departure for GMC.
