Winter Returned

High of 17 yesterday, 5 degrees now. Got 4-5 inches of snow yesterday and went to town to meet friends for lunch. Coming home our road to the house wasn't plowed. AWD or 4x4 and good tires are a must sometimes to get in and out. Still like the Michelin Defender LTX MS on our Hyundai Santa Fe.

The fire danger here is bad, so dry.

Lake Powell and Lake Mead are down 200 feet.

Central Southern CO san de cristo mountains.

Sunny mostly, 32F gusting west winds. Highs near 50F but DRY DRY DRY, winds winds and we burned terribly here in 2018. No trees to stop winds off mountains and we are set to burn again.  NM burning and dumping soot and smoke on us 100's of miles north here.

Prediction is we are gonna burn in CO this year like no ones business.
