3-3/4" of rain in the last 36 hours. In the mid to low 50's. Beans are turning and ears are drooping. Bout time to stick a fork in the summer of 22.  :(

We had 9.76” of rain in 24 hours up here. All hell broke loose. This is the storm water retention pod I jog at every day. The debris on the sidewalk was the water line. Crazy to see snails and crayfish on the pavement.1EAF3D0E-14D9-44D2-8BFC-5666659D13A3.thumb.jpeg.4ca3fed67c48be8b40c027a051271e5e.jpeg77EDB7C4-99DA-4479-9030-FA0132202E8B.thumb.jpeg.c5f8ad8d21f137204027af93d0a5d35f.jpeg

The leaves started turning around here, noticed it last Monday the 19th. Funny how it seems to pop up overnight.

Well I’m ready to hit my favorite seasons in Texas. Which is anything but summer. First cool front is approaching. Finally getting out of the seventies in the AM to the eighties in the afternoon. There’s talk of the fifties in the AM. Cool enough to do some maintenance on the old Avalanche. Yahoo!

Tip of the trees here since a week ago or so. Not all. Spotty. Beans however turn fast. Very wet September so far. Not too much but more than average.

31F at sunrise here. 64F at noon. Sunny beautiful. Cold enough to get rid of carpetbaggers and warm and dry enough arthritic issues abate.  image.png.2fe15e6a7e4ccec10fa1dc7e1cf49c86.png

A few days we started waking up to low 70s in the morning and 80s during the day.  Now we're in a tropical storm!  LOL

Well finally. 53 this morning. I’ll start my day in jeans for my walk and a jacket. Humidity is low unusual anytime of year. After breakfast back to shorts for the high of 89 today. Ready for some rain it has been awhile. Looks like a shorten mowing season from lack of rain. My favorite time of year has started.

We have been in the high 30's in the mornings. Fall colors looking good. A little rain last 2 days.
