Anyone running a 295/70 on a 17x8.5 0 offset wheel (Method) on stock suspension? Looks like it would fit, but any comments would be welcomed.

17x9 with -12mm offset and 295/70's. I had to trim the mudflaps fo it didn't rub anymore.

Nice, thank you. I plan on doing some sort of 1.5-2" level/ lift. Just wanted to get the wheels and tires on first.

I have a 2020 rst Silverado 1500 I just put a three inch level in and I just ordered 35 11.5 20 Nitto trail grapplers will I clear the upper control arm or will I need spacers? Everything I’ve seen with that size tire is on either a 2 or 2.5 inch level and they say everything clears with maybe some minor rubbing on fender liners will this be the same with the 3 inch leveling kit would really appreciate an answer to this question. Thank you.

What aftermarket brand control arms did you switch to?

Everything is stock other than leveling kit

I’m surprised that you didn’t need to change your Upper Control Arms since I’ve always been told that the OEM control arms need to be changed whenever you raise the front over 2” or more.

Regardless, I think an 11.5” tire should be fine without hitting anything.  I can only tell you that my 12.5” tire on a 20 x 9 rim with a 0 offset, needed a 1/2” spacer so it didn’t hit the aftermarket control arm.  Hopefully someone else can chime in.

Yea that’s what I’m hoping I have buddy in a bunch of truck groups and all that and he was telling me he knew someone that went with a 35 by 12.5 and needed like a .25 spacer to clear with a level on a gmc I believe it was but like I said everything I saw people have 2 or 2.5 and seem to not have issues so I’m hoping it’s the same for a 3

If it does fit on there without rubbing depending on how close it is I may still get spacers just to give it a little more clearance on the uca

I think the angle of the OEM Upper control arm on a 3” Leveling Kit is gonna be an issue.  And if it is an issue, I think I’ve seen it where it just gives out without warning and the whole tire buckles while driving.  I’d look into that a little more rather than rolling the dice.

You don't HAVE to, but he WILL NEED TO once the ball joints fail.

Those are the angles they don’t look too extreme to me but I’m not to sure would like a second opinion before I spend 300 dollars on uca’s and have to pull those struts back out

If it looks good to another set of eyes I may order spacers and the 3 inch uca’s from rough country since it’ll be closer to the tire

    • Yes it can be a challenge for obvious reasons. Remember when people were blocked on websites during the last administration if you didn’t agree. Being retired I can scan all the sites and podcasts. I start in the morning with Glen beck during my walk. Then I watch Orielly that I recorded the night before. I scan the headlines on Newsmax, and News Nation. News Nation has Como so it’s diverse. Weekly him and Orielly have debates sometimes Steven A is along for the ride. My nightcap is Jesse Watters for comic relief. Then it’s the Astros, that’s been disappointing. Sometimes Greg Kelly if the Astros are getting blown out.
    • I believe the only thing that can be monitored is negative electrical current returning through the frame instead of the ground wire. It's just a guess, but that's how your home gfi breakers work and my theory is that is what's going on. I will be watching for what you figure out.
    • Glad it worked for you. I tried that 1st, about 2 years ago. Didn't help. I also tried doing a hard reset (disconnecting battery for minimum of 30 minutes). Worked a couple times, but after one summer of doing it over and over, that no longer worked.  I was fairly confident it was either the compressor or a failed actuator, but I just couldn't identify which one. Had to research which actuators do what and which last numbers are associated with each.
    • Took me FIFTEEN MINUTES to find this. Isn't that a problem? On the mainstream media I can INSTANTLY find 100 articles bashing President Trump ... but when it comes to TRUTH in American corporate news & search engines, it's carefully filtered to support ONE SIDE. A Republic cannot survive like this! Incredible! Even all the AI searchers out there failed as well! ChatGPT said it needed more details on the video that I provided a DIRECT LINK to! I thought AI was the be-all, end-all?? I had to dig it up myself. This should be FRONT PAGE NEWS!!! 🤬   Here's the statement directly from our President:     Glenn Beck's reporting on the operation:   https://glennbeck.com/watch/videos/trump-just-revealed-a-massive-military-secret-that-lowered-gas-prices   In case that link doesn't work, here's the YouTube link:     And another 15 minutes to find this clip out of Glenn Beck's video - the first few seconds is all the corporate media will allow the public to see, since the low IQ people will think Trump said " I love inflation ", and that was the end of it. Taken WAY out of context! Here's that part, plus the 2nd part about the oil smuggling operation:
    • More is cylinder deactivation. Kia-Hyundai Ive had 4. The warranty is the same 10 years 100K miles. My grandson drives the first one 05 Elantra GT. My wife drives the second one 2011 Genesis. The Genesis still performs as new and looks great. The Elantra looks rough. He’s not kind to it. The third was a Genesis coup. The fourth was a Santa Fe. Those were my daily drivers. I don’t keep them long. Kia is the same as Hyundai with the same warranty. I looked at the K-4 today. Too small, otherwise pretty good buy. Most of Hyundai and Kia’s have a performance upgrade.
