Thanks for the compliment

Your truck setup looks tough. I like the wheel/tire choice too. What size tires you running?

Also how clean do the red calipers stay? Was thinking of doing the same thing as well as doing the red row hooks

Damn, I just painted my red tow hooks gloss black!

I finally did a thing.  Duratracs in 285/75r18.  No lift or level, yet.  ReadyLift 2" kit is sitting in the garage because I don't have the majority of my tools.  Only basic tools in case of roadside emergency.  Just moved from California to Florida, but furniture hasn't been delivered yet.  Had slight rub on mud flaps so I replaced them with the McGaughy's delete kit (not shown because they arrived a few days after the pic was taken).  Truck needed new tires when I reached 50k miles.

Question:  Should I get fender flares?  Been debating this question for 3 years.  I'm considering the ones with the flat spot in the midis like the Sierras have.

What about the ZR2 Fender Flares without the Flat?

Honestly, I haven't even looked at them

Edit:  just to a look.  I don't think they're feasible.  The front of the fenders don't go as far down on the ZR2.  I don't think the flares will work.

I just finished doing this to my 2020 Sierra x31

just remember the angles you see with the truck sitting still may not be the angles that are troublesome. It is when the front of the vehicle travels up llike when going over a bridge and the suspension travels up and down or bounces, and if the bounces are  too violent the suspension will max the angles out as the front end of the truck travels up in the air, causing possibly a fracture in the ball joint

With that being said, I would like to point you in the direction of american trucks.com. That is where I found a great deal on a set of upper control arms. They have a lot of open box products sometimes at half the cost I was able to find a set of FAbtech upper control arms that normally were 300 and something dollars and I was able to get them taxes shipped and all for 136 so I jumped on it. I also upgraded the shocks all the way around with the Billstein 5100 adjustable shocks truck rides so much better with those shocks and also gives you the option to add up to 2 1/2 inches of lift to the front. So what I did was chose option for 2 1/2 inch lift, and I and paired that with the 2 inch upper strut spacer leveling kit that I had already put on the truck so now I am sitting at roughly 4 to 4 1/2 inches and the angles on my upper control arms look great everything aligned perfectly then added a 1 1/2 inch block in the back.
As far as the tire size I went with the 35x11. 50x 20 and have no rubbing  but when I put the half inch spacers to push the tires out a bit I did get just a small amount of rub at 90-100 percent turn. I will
post pictures to give you an idea of my set up. Good luck on yours. Just wanted to share some helpful information.

Have you had any problems with your CV angles? I’m looking to do this setup.

Your truck looks good. I love the color and tires. I wouldn't add the flares if it were me. I think that the truck(s) looks better without them. Just my $0.02.

Your truck looks good. Fender flairs aren’t needed unless your tires are slinging gravel or mud on to the side of your truck. They don’t add much if just for looks imo.

I think your truck looks bada** as is. I would not bother with fender flares. I really like my Duratracs.

Thanks.  I've heard you and appreciate your opinion.  I have decided to not get the fender flares.  I was never sure which way I was going with that and needed to hear what others thought.
