Does one have to be on Facebook and/or Twitter to use this site or have a complete profile? If so I guess I don't belong here because I won't put up with either one of those dump sites.

No. You can be a part of this site without F'book or Twits.

 

We do have a F'book page, but it is entirely separate from this forum

 

As for profile, a valid email is all that is needed. But since you've already joined to post this, you would know this already
