I have a blackbear tune on my 2015 6.0 truck. Pulls my trailer great.

Yes, I did notice a difference. Maybe not huge like tuning a diesel but still noticeable. I first installed their 85 octane tune and trans tuning and that was noticeable gains in mostly transmission shifting and torque management. Then a few months later I installed the 91 octane tune and noticed a bit more power than previous. Say not crazy huge difference but enough to notice. I would do it again. I had a tune from Diablew on my 2008 2500 6.0 truck as well and we about the same results and feeling as the Blackbear.

2011+ computers are torque based calibrations unlike the previous 2007.5 - 2010 trucks. To say TM is a root cause is kind of false because torque is everything on a E78 and newer computer. It's hard to type it all out for how it all works but TM is not really an issue.

6.0 calibrations are just overall really lazy, it's designed that way. So if Blackbear or whoever can spice up some of the nannies and make a few other parameters work better, it will make it feel a whole lot better. I've tuned and helped with several in the past, don't expect any real huge power gains though.

To me, the best part of my BlackBear tune is transmission performance.

Unless it’s an 8 speed. I was told the 8 speeds still haven’t been cracked.
