Any news on a programmer that will unlock and change the 106 mph speed limiter for the 2019-2020 6.2l silverados?  Do not want to change the computer out, just unlock to change the speed limiter.

Nope, but mine goes to 113 and stops.

I have though that the speed limiter setting is a safety concern and set based upon the performance specs of the stock tires.

My tires are 118 mph rated and there is a good safety factor on top of that. I would expect these T rated Bridgestones to be good for at least 125-130 regardless of what the mfg states. They have to protect themselves.

Tires and driveshaft. Once a driveshaft comes out of balance at those speeds it will destruct with in seconds.

They do make one.

It requires voiding your warranty and spending a minimum of $1,900 to purchase a new unlocked computer from HP Tuners and the credits to tune it.

I doubt you're going to spend that kind of cash just to go over 106mph every now and then.

My 2019 Carbon Pro AT4 kicks in at 98 mph - very annoying!  Well below the tire rating - but I guess they dock you another 8 mph for the 2" lift!

Do you really want to take these high, loose un aerodynamic vehicles with truck tires with a significant forward weight bias at speeds higher than 100?

Maybe

What gear? 6 or 7? I think mine boggs at 106 is about 6th and I still have 4 more gears to go. Sucks

I have no idea, it was still climbing, I hit 113 when the limiter kicked in once before.

Damn I had no idea you guys were over 100. I'm governed to 98.

Must be a Trail Boss - AT4 thing - my AT4 at 98 as well (which was done off hwy of course).  Guess when they add 2" of lift they drop 10 mph!  My 2014 Raptor was limited at 106.
