Perhaps you blew the fuse for that side, or you just wired it up wrong?  You could try restoring the wiring to the original setup with the original bulb, make sure it works again, then go forward and modify it again for the LEDs.  Or get an electrical tester and wiring diagram and see where you are getting power and ground when the flashers are going and where you stop getting them.
