Get a 3/36000 warranty so they can tell you there's no fix available or operating as designed....when it croaks.

Makes the $10k to add a pro charger and tune look real tempting right about now.  What the heck are they thinking charging that amount

GM should make a regular cab short box with a 5.3 supercharged. And a crew cab 6.2 supercharged and charge $40k for regular cab and $50k for crew cab. Would sell a ton of them.

I really like the wheels on the black truck. They look great with the red calipers.

I can’t see being into a work truck interior Custom for what, like $130k?

Buy a low miles, easy to tune K2 and have at it for half the money.

Aside from personal preferences regarding looks, why wouldn't you just get a Ram Rebel TRX?  A more capable TRUCK all the way around and factory backed.

FCA & Ford has to be :rollin:

Trx with a factory hemi at 700+ hp for under 100k or this lmao..... Gm has the parts bin to make something nice but refuses it seems. They rather sub it out and then pretend that this price tag is even the least bit feasible for anyone!

GM will never make a real performance truck, they just don't sell enough of them.

That is just a lame defeatist excuse, and yes because it is hard to justify their markups for stickers and black rims, as that is what gm considered their performance package outside of their camaro and vette lines today!

Put the supercharged 6.2 vette motor/ 10 spd combo in these trucks with a 3.73 gear in the back, give it an awd system even, lowered a bit from factory and actually make it look tough from FACTORY and like FCA, they will be all taken before a single one hits the lot! They have all the parts needed right on their shelf already, but this company is lead by a not so intelligent person who thinks they need to become Tesla and is clearly obsessed with that right now!

I’ve bought my share of special performance vehicles from GM when reasonably priced. The 94 impala ss and trailblazer SS the last two. The last Chevy SS from Australia just didn’t push my button. Or more important my wife’s, it would have been her daily. She preferred and still has a Genesis. It was 20K less. And more equipped. Reasonably priced is also a consideration and competition.

KARNUT,

I know your not a fan, but what I would give to go back and get the Chevy SS with a 6 spd new.

Speaking of desirable models no longer in production, I remember commenting on a topic a while back that you were a part of regarding the Avalanche trucks.  I found it funny that shortly after that post I just so happened to pick up a Cadillac EXT.  It was in absolute MINT condition minus a whining front differential.  I purchased and installed(6 hours but should have been 3) a rebuilt front differential and the truck is now super silent and a pleasure to drive.....really nice luxury cruiser/yacht/truck lol.

Next on the list of repairs is the compressor and rear shocks......bleh.

I was a fan of the SS. My wife’s Genesis was a better buy. 0-60 in the 5s and 13 quarter mile for 20K less. And 10 years later still going strong. It’s a Hyundai so no ones gonna steal it. We already have a collector in the garage we can’t park anywhere. So all that went into the equation. Oh and I love the Avalanche. If I found a clean caddy like my Avalanche, yea I’d buy it. Definitely an upgrade.

If they sold the Yenko cheap, it would not longer be an exclusive club...

Like most 'sport' vehicles the 'look at this thing factor'.
