IOR is actually an 8" screen in Silverado's. I think in all trim maybe not WT. It's 7" in other GM vehicles.

A lot of LT's have IOR radios. Including mine.

No, the April 9, 2020 is the original build number date for the radio in my truck (the original programming). The update is Jan, 13th. GM didn't start pushing the update until late last year (December, I think).

I know what the RPO info sheet says.
But I’m telling you that my LT and many LT’s have an IOR radio that’s 8”. That’s fine if the Custom had a 7”. But I’m telling you that not all IOR’s are 7”.

My 2020 LT came with the IOS radio, I believe that you have to have the convenience package II though.

If you say so. There's 3 LTs and one RST on my block and they all have IOS. The only IOR I have had experience with was a 7" (which you initially claimed wasn't a thing in Silverados)

Saying that a 7" isn't possible and that "most" LTs have an IOR is misleading at best. As Booger said, pretty sure it was a package and not trim

I didn’t claim it wasn’t a thing. I said I’m pretty sure IOR is an 8” in all Silverado’s save for WT. “pretty sure” implying that I was not certain. And proceeding to concede to the Custom being a 7” IOR when you said you had experience with that.

I also never said a 7” IOR wasn’t possible and never said that “most” LT’s have IOR radios. I said, “many” do.

What’s misleading is saying that all IOR radios are 7”. (which you did say...multiple times) Which they are not. But I know that’s what the RPO code description says, so I get it. But that’s why I wanted to clarify that there are 8” IOR radios.

Just to put this to bed. Attached is a couple screenshots from a GM "playbook?" that shows the various radio options and their features....showing that IOR radios come in both 7" and 8".

Looks like if you don't have XM radio then you know you don't have one of the "special" radios and will not be receiving the update.

That includes me.....

Appears I have the update but no history. Anyone have theirs flashed at the dealership? Perhaps they did it when it was in for service.

I don't think so as the update push didn't start until late last year. What you see is the original Build Number and date (original programming/software, if you will) for your infotainment system. The update should be listed under Update History. Like the photo below:
