WeGone
I'm going out on a limb here but have you tried to disconnect the negative cable to reset things? Do you have a code reader?
luke1333
Trans sensor? Like neutral safety switch or range selector switch
diyer2
You need a scanner to read codes, not answers if you want to work on this truck yourself.

Won't it set the cel on his instrument panel if there were codes to read?
diyer2
Yes A scanner is a must IMO.
gemarsh
For some reason the transfer case is in neutral? Just spit balling. No cel on dash that I see.
redwngr
Something made the messages come up and applied a speed limit. Would made sense if some sort of information stored by the computers. Curious to hear what a scanner discovers.
THE YETI
5 hours and 47000kms. Crazy. That truck is fast. I would suggest taking that ****** right back to the dealer you got it from . If you got a smoking deal and paid cash for an under the table no warranty vehicle then scan for codes. Haven't heard of crazy flooding like down south up here so maybe a VIN search can help with any claims that you may not find out from a dealer VIN search. To me if it was a purchase from a business though sounds like I would have it fixed ASAP or my cash back, PERIOD. Depends on the code. Most of the time, yes.
Transient
Iirc, there's a way to limit the speed via the settings of the DIC. If you exceed that speed you'll get a message like what you're seeing. You may have inadvertently set the notification to 0 kph while exploring the settings. JJ461
Does it do the same thing with both keys, maybe you somehow set the teen driver mode or the valet mode.
