Looking at a 2021 AT4 1500, loaded tech package and all, not the Carbon pro but does have the 3.0L. Kicker is it has 34k miles. What would you offer for the truck? It’s hard to gauge the price of trucks these days.

What do you feel comfortable offering?

You are in no way obligated to buy if you if you make an offer. What are other similar (not exact) going for in your zip code?

Try Cars.com, Autotrader, and any other internet source you can find. Might help you make your decision.

Do you know the accident and repair history? If not, get it and then decide if you want to buy the truck. I would check KBB and deduct 2 year's depreciation (about $10k) and then add 10% to that amount for a market adjustment.

34,000 miles on a '21.

Hasn't been sitting still much!

Somebody updated to stay under the bumper to bumper. (yes, diesel powertrain is 5yr/100)

If you are going to put the typical 12,000 per year on it, it will always be a 'high mileage' truck.

Value it accordingly.

Carfax is clean. Tax, tag and fee would get me at $58 OTD. My only concern is the mileage on the 3.0L but it’s not a deal breaker.

You can get a brand new AT4 with no options for about that much, keep that in mind. I’m not sure what your area is like but dealers around here have trucks rolling in regularly. Talk to them and see what they are getting that isn’t already sold.

If you have to have the options, and this truck has everything you want. I wouldn’t be scared of the mileage on the 3.0. With that said there aren’t many out there that have gone real far just due to it being new. so, there isn’t a lot of long term data from the public, I doubt any issues are to be expected.

Only you can decide if that price is worth the truck. I don’t believe the price is out of place in this current market.

Seems like a total waste of money to me. You lose what..... $500... $1,000 every month just in depreciation alone?

A new truck that 2 million other people already own. And no one will be impressed. No heads will turn.

If I was ever going tyo drop $50K in cash on a rig, it would not be a brand new... Chevy truck? Haha. No way.

How about buy two or three of these instead, for less money:

About the last 6 years of my working life I didn’t run the roads as much. Just back and forth to my office 9 miles. I bought a 92 stroke blown 92 Chevy truck for work duties. Along with 64 elcamino, 98 two door Tahoe, 64 retro GMC and my mid life crisis Genesis coup sports car. The only one I kept was the 92. The sports car got traded for a new truck just shy of retirement. I didn’t have them all at once. With the exception of the retirement truck never more than 20 grand invested. All returned a little profit. Especially the elcamino.
