Not to start a political thread but isn't it sad that so much of our manufacturing is not made here in the good ole US?

The heated steering will is supposed to be retrofitted free of charge when they become available.

That is also the case with the front heated/ventilated seats and front/rear park assist. The only thing that isn't retrofittable are the heated rear seats. If you don't get them, you don't get them. That's also why the credit is $250 for heated rear seat delete vs. $25/$50 for the wheel and parking sensors.

Yeah, according to that only a couple of trims and not all vehicles. Also will be retrofitted later for free on the ones that actually do come missing it.

I fail to see the outrage and fail to see it as a reason not to buy a refreshed truck. Silverados and sierras have been missing features for a year now. At least now they’re gonna put most of the stuff in for you later on. That wasn’t the case last year.

We could try getting stuff built in the U.S. where wages are $20 an hour, not $1 an hour, and then there are environmental regulations which will double the costs... that's why our rivers are blue, not black, and men who drink from our rivers don't grow big breasts. Americans want cheap, they go to Walmart and preach others about the need to visit mom and pop stores that cost twice as much. Such hypocrisy.

I had major concerns about them stealthily removing options and it seems they have removed rear door unlock buttons. It's also happening with Ford, I ordered a nicely equipped Ford F-150 Lariat  with 502A that drives itself.. and it looks like I'll be waiting six months. Not only that, the LED box lights are now optional and requires a $1,000 package. My 2019 Cheyenne RST already has that. We're living in different times.

Why would it be? Unions have ruined that many many years ago and just now starting to feel the effects of it
