It has to be said again! these new interiors are so nice! The Gauge cluster is perfect. GM heard the interior complaints loud and well .  Now can we get that 475 HP 6.2 engine update ? And while were at it can we get the 5.3 to 400HP ?

Nice rides. I thought about upgrading to a refresh, from my 2020. But to "trade in" I'd lose money, and don't really want to go upside down on that just to get into a new interior and some exterior changes. However, the old interior now, is actually simple and straight to the point. Thankfully has carplay, huge plus.

I haven't heard anyone going upside down in a trade.  The lease on my 2019 RST matured April 1st. Instead of turning it in as a lease, dealer bought it from me and I made $6K.

My mom just got done with her lease with her 2018 Enclave. They honored her lease at the appreciation rate of what it was in 2018 at $26k.  It now is rated at $34k.  She bought it out right because of how high the new Enclaves are. They are $11k over what she paid. Hers only has 36k miles. She put a 100k warranty on it and called it good.  Crazy how prices of vehicles have gone.

I am going to wait a year to see how things go.  Really like new interior but also love my 0% interest rate right now.

What made you go with a 285/45/22 for tire size vs the factory 275/50/22 factory 22" size? the reason I ask is the refresh HC I have on order will come with factory 22s in the 275/50/22 size. So your size would be .7" shorter and throw the speedo off according to what I'm finding online.

Thanks for your insight.

I've had good luck with this tire size. I like the Firestone Destination A/T2 with the new silica compounds. Ride amazing and super quiet. Speedo error is insignificant and not enough to make a difference.  You'll have more of a factory +/- speedo error than between these 2 sizes.  Here's the speedo difference between the OEM 275/50/22 (in yellow) and the 285/45/22.

Picked up my Denali (6.2, Denali Reserve Package, Painted Wheel Arches) on 3/24. Windows have been tinted and bed cover is in the garage ready to be put on in the next couple weeks.

Hey!  Any shots of the interior?  I had ordered an Ultimate but am having second thoughts because I really don't want the autonomous driving, carbon bed, speakers in the bed, and the Vader chrome grill doesn't even match the lower grills(drives me insane why the Vader chrome doesn't apply to every piece on the truck).  It would save me some money too for options I don't really want.

Sorry it's not letting me reply directly @mafd2

But yes, I've looked around at all the GMC dealers around me, I get a -$1400 trade in cause its a 2.7. Again I'm very happy with what I got, but the payments would definitely go up monthly another $150 to get into one of the newer ones. Apparently the trade in value what I owe would make me go upside down by a little.

Even if I did it, I'd still pay more monthly than I am now. I don't lease due to mileage of 25k/yr. Maybe someday... lol

I hear you on all those things and even if you wanted all those things and the brown leather massaging seats, I couldn’t see the paying another $10k over my truck.

Here’s the only interior picture I took the day after I got it. I’m happy to snap a couple more if there is something specific you’d like to see.

This picture actually captures what I wanted to see which is the wood trim, speaker grills, badging, floor matts, etc.  If your anything like me you will be grabbing for the column shifter a few times if you previously owned a GM truck haha.  Does this truck still showcase the exterior "lighting animation" when unlocking?  Still not sure what that even means honestly.

Beautiful truck. Love the look of it. I am a huge chrome fan through and through.  Now in my opinion if it had GMs 22 inch snowflake wheels. That would just be the icing on the cake.  Congrats on your purchase. Enjoy it.

I'm good with his post, would have been better if there were video of an actual flock of turkeys attacking his truck🤔😬

Absolutely stunning truck 🛻. I love the glacier blue metallic!! The interior is beautiful. I love the column shifter in my 2020 LTZ Crew Cab. But the new shifter goes great with the new interior. This is tough. I absolutely love the ZR2 in glacier blue metallic. My dealership offered me stupid money for my truck in a trade. I would miss my column shifter. But that freakin interior is sexy. Nice truck sir! Well done mate!!

    • Yep, just a quick reference point.    My main point being I’d do a thousand other things before I’d pay 10k for a transmission.    Speaking in ignorance cause I don’t look at these trucks, what is it worth? 20k?
    • I think users are going to want to pick their monitored parameters, which parameters they want to see first.    It should probably start with baseline at a minimum and adjust to learned, but be able to overlay baseline for comparison.   A simple severity level would be able to determine what type of alerting is appropriate or user selectable.    Why not use the OBD port though?   I think a phone connection would be a good idea, push notifications type deal.   Number 1 issue is having data is useless if you don’t know what the data should be under normal conditions.
    • I thought I would use your thread and add to it as I just did my first longer drive with my truck in the last couple of days. I drove from the Grande Prairie area of Alberta down to Edmonton and most of where I drove in the city was the ring road so fairly free flowing but a bit of stop and go as well in the city. Stayed the night and returned home and not too many stops along the way each way but every restart and certainly every cold start sets it back for fuel mileage. Why I say that is I see some people will cherry pick a fuel mileage leg after the vehicle had been warmed up driveline wise before hand and its a forgiving ( easy rolling drive leg for example ) and call that their fuel mileage which can give a false perception of reality. I was not heavily loaded at all but never the less the flip bak cover, rubber bed mat, various tools etc and extra jerry cans of fuel all way up to a few hundred pounds of dead weight so its not an empty truck. The cold inflation tire pressures are set more near the freezing point so once they are warmed up driving I was showing 45 front and over 40 rear and realize high inflation pressures would help a little in fuel mileage but certainly not the ride on our crap sections of highway. The weather was good so was not raining as that can really drag mileage down, in fact I had a bit of a tail wind on average driving home. Most people on here would never have driven on that freeway to visualize it but its got a fair bit of rolling type of landscape with numerous river valleys. For the most part I had it on cruise set to 62 although kicking it off if I caught it in time before it started down shifting and self braking going down the grades. Most of the more substantial grades its shifting into 7th I believe as 8th just doesn't have it. Total distance round trip was 643 miles and my overall average and I did refuel three times in all, figured out to 17.65 miles per US gallon. My best fuel mileage section refuel within all of this figured out to 18.46 and these are all hand calculated figures. I find if anything that the trucks computer can be over optimistic, sometimes its pretty close but other times its stretching it. On paper persay in theory the truck would have just about made it on fumes for that whole drive without refueling once.    Which made me think of the topic thread of the wonder if these trucks could do 20 mpg and that is a good question, certainly would have to be on an easy going flat highway, no head wind, the right temperature, not packing around a bunch of dead weight and puttering along even slower than I was I would suspect and going steady and not stopping to smell the flowers or take a piss !. It probably is possible but not without effort to attain that with the wind resistance and weight of these trucks. Of course on my drive most people are passing me if they have the power as per loaded highway tractors, never mind a lot of speedy vehicles but the speed limit is 68 and most are at or well over that.
    • Monday looks like a good day for the dealer to test an ac issue. Hopefully it all turns out good.
