That sucks there is not an GM part number for the illuminated GMC emblem. Curious to see how the illumination shows through. 

Did you ever get the backup camera wired up?

The 19+ GMC emblem is wider and shorter unfortunately.

No I have not yet, I am going to also put a denali cluster and wire up my steering wheel controls at the same time, thats next on the list!

 

The emblem shines very bright even through the tint, I am very happy with it!

Gave it the first good detail of the spring! There are a few maintenance items I have to take care of before I continue any of the other "fun" stuff but stay tuned!

Hope everyone had a good 4th! Put about 1,000 miles on this past week. Came up with my own rear sway bar for under $150 all said and done. I'll post a step by step next week when I am finished with it!

Long time no update! Well a few weeks back I hit a deer. I figured I would take this opportunity to do something I have been thinking about for awhile. A 16+ front end conversion! 

 

Here is a great write up I used to gather the parts I needed.

 

 

 

It is still not fully assembled but getting close!

 

 

 

Here is the truck that inspired me. I do also plan to switch up the wheels soon

Conversion is done!! Actually really straight forward. Makes a huge difference IMO!

Looks great man!!!!! I have a poster of Superman on my wall, I’m fixing to take it down and put a poster of you up there I’ve read the whole 7 pg thread on your transformation and you are a master of your trade. I see the hard work you put into your truck and the pride you have for it. Looks great
