How Many Problems Have You Had With Your GMT-900?

Oh yeah, if you go with an exhaust system actually engineered for your truck going into 4cyl mode (see Corsa, Borla, etc.), you'll have no problems with AFM drone.

Might as well have the AFM to save you that mile or two / gallon.

No comprende AFM, can you pleese es-splain. (That is the state language sorry)

I have a 2008 Sierra and I want to make it clear that I love my truck, but I have a problem with it. I have outward dents in the passenger rear quarter panel around the wheelwell. When I first took it in to my dealership they did paintless dent removal on it. Well about 2 weeks later I started to see the dents again. I took it back to the dealership and they told me that it was a rock that got in the wheelwell and bounced around causing the outward dents (which sounded stupid to me). This time they sanded it down, knocked the dents out and re-painted. Well this time it lasted a little bit longer, about 3 weeks and I started seeing the dents again. This Time I called GM directly. They started a case number and I got a call from the service manager manager and he wanted me to bring it in so the can see it. I took it back in and GM brought the engineers from the proving grounds in milford michigan to look at it. They do not know what is causing this and they are going to take the whole passenger rear panel off and take it to the proving grounds to see what is causing this, and of course replace it with another one. They told me that there have only been 5 cases of this with the NBS SIerra/Silverado.

If anyone has heard of this I would like to hear from you. :troll:

I went to the CORSA site, well over a grand for 10hp gain.... :troll: It better sound good and not drone.

Over $1k from Corsa direct. I got mine for just over $600 from a member here who used to have a rather large online store (can't remember his name and haven't seen him post in quite some time). Maybe I will come across it later.

I have about 3200 miles on my truck and I am in love. I do have one gripe. When making left turns; and only left turns, and hit a bump/uneven surface, I hear a clunk. It sounds like it is coming from the left rear. I have some time tomorrow so I am going to take a look at everything before I bring it in, but has anyone else had this issue?

Well, my 08 is back in the shop getting another new steering rack. The last one lasted 1000 miles before it started dripping on the garage floor. The truck only has 4900 miles on it.

I've had mine about 15 months and 18,000+ miles

-Battery Rundown "Recall" - The recall is when it left me stranded in the garage, never got a notice!

-Brakes have been warped since about 16,000 miles...fear I need rotors resurfaced, hopefully replacement! Will be going in soon. This is bs in my opinion since my 01 Sierra went 80,000 miles before the brakes were touched. Almost 95% highway each day.

Other than that, I am very happy.

I have only had 1 serious problem with my 08 extended cab.

The cap that covers the center windshield wiper nut was left off :)

I am optimistic, but my envoy was trouble free for the first year or so before the head needed replaced.

But I have to say it is much better then my 03 accord. I had that car in the shop an average of 2x a month for the first year I owned it.
