I have an 88 Silverado that the radio died in. A co worker has a unit that was in working when remove from a 95. What are the odds of it fitting in my truck?

IMHO, considering that all GM radios were about the same between those time periods, I'd say your odds are pretty good. Only thing that might be different is the screen color and maybe the mounting points, but I think they are swappable. Since the new radio is from a co-worker, maybe they could let you try it out to see if it does fit/ work in your truck.
