Surprisingly it passed with no problem. The sticker vending machine was out of order at the dmv so i will have to go the next town over tomorrow. Also i have a stored code that my scanner picked up for the left cat, no light so it passed

Think I'm going to order the "mechcanical" O2 sensor thing that puts your sensor a few inches farther out so it keeps the light off. That way if I ever trade it in I can keep the tuner, and the light off.

Can't really find any of the plug in dummy sensors anymore.

Friggin emissions ... :banghead:

I think your talking about the spark plug defoulers - find one that the sensor threads into, then thread that into the bung on the pipe.

I haven't tried it personally since MA doesn't do emissions on vehicles 15 or older (and haven't had the need to on the Silverado ... yet ...), but I hear it works great.

Works like a charm. We don't have emissions testing here but I was tired of seeing the light on all the time on our Trailblazer. No one could find anything wrong to cause the code to pop up. Went to Autozone picked up the defoulers, took longer to jack it up than it took to install.

Spent over $150 on toll roads in last 2 days. Camper from Northern Indiana to New Jersey and back without camper. With tolls in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and back in Pennsylvania.

Spark plug de-fouler? That's what I did on my G6, and it keeps the CEL off. Cost $4 for a pair of them. You'll have to drill the inside of it to get the O2 sensor to fit.

Lucky you! My wife has sent me to the gas station in her car to fill it up, and it mysteriously runs out about 1/2 mile before the gas station. Happened twice now....... When asked how long the low fuel light has been on, her reply was "a day or 2 ago".

Yeah these northern states really put it to ya when your pulling a trailer. You should see the toll - one way - for towing across the George Washington Bridge! It'll make your eyes bleed.

Gotta fund their communist ways somehow, I suppose ... :nonod:

I averaged 13.7 mpg with the last 21 gallons of 89 octane, not bad! This has been a majority of street with some highway thrown in.

And I filled back up with 91 today since I feel that she starts up better with it.

And she hit 235,000 a few days ago.
