My pickup has the returnless, single fuel line. What does this one look like?

I finally drove her since last Wednesday and as a gift she had two pretty bad fuel leaks from the fuel pressure regulator. The first was when I first started her this morning which I was slow to notice so a ton of fuel was lost. I then began to drive out of the complex and she was leaking again!

After that I managed to make it to work but I think I'm going to buy a new FPR since this one might be bad, or at least the O ring is.

I can't imagine why GM thought that this FPR design was logically sound.

When my shortly owned Malibu developed a fuel leak I drove it to the Toyota dealer. :lol:

Friggin BEAUTIFUL Sarah! I couldn't have picked a better setup me-self. :thumbs::cheers:

I'm partial to the 1405 - one less "electronic" device for me to deal with. :D

The 1405 is what I put on my old '76 Chevy 350. Can't wait until I get a chance to work on that old beast again.

That sucks Oscar -been there. I backed into a little 4" maple sapling on my property going less than walking speed, back when the truck was only 2 years old / 20k miles. Folded the rear bumper into a vee, bent the tailgate, and tweaked the box so bad that I had a crease directly above the right rear wheel on the box. Had to go on a frame machine for an hour to tweak it back into shape! I did all the disassembly, and bought all the parts - the body shop did the body work and reassembly. Still cost me $2,200 ... BIG FACEPALM.

They sure don't build 'em like they used to ... :nonod:

I had my 7 month old escape towed to the Ford dealer and they bought it back... Now I'm just trying to decide which 2016 F150 I want. I know it's going to be a RCSB 4x4 with a 5.0, just need to decide which colour. I tried my hardest to get them to sell me a 2016 Silverado RCSB, but Ford wouldn't do it, lol...

Ford's got some nice looking stuff out right now. Not too crazy about the aluminum bodies though - that could cost you big in a fender-bender if the other guy's insurance - or your own - doesn't pay ...

Well that wasn't very bright! Should have at least gone to Honda! Not sure what it is, but I've noticed more Yohota's with fuel leak issues in the engine compartment than any other make! Responded on several fires over the years.. mixed bag, no set model or year where it's an issue..

Spent 25 minutes at the local Shell station (circle K) filling the tank up with Diesel. The thing was coming out as slow as my sink faucet. It was very annoying. Tried various things and tricks but no go. Went in to ask the attendant what was up, he shrugged his shoulder and said "It's diesel, the cold weather is probably causing it to jell up a bit and go slow thru the pump." I shook my head in disbelief at his response. Should have taken notice of another 2 pumps where the diesel handles were covered up with out of service signs. That left my pump and 2 others with diesel nozzles were not covered. Been to this station several times before, never an issue. Was only 32 degrees out. There was air in the line as well, I wonder if the underground storage tank was near empty or something. Got me worried. 20 minutes later, still out at the pump, I look over and see Diesel spilling out from the filler neck onto the ground. The thing was going so slow that it didn't trip the full sensor on the nozzle. About a gallon or so managed to get out by the time I made it over to stop it. Went in and told the clerk what happened, washed my hands, and took off. He didn't seem to care. I did throw a bit of the absorb material onto the ground since there was a bag of it near the pump. Also left a nice little note on the pump that I wrote on the back of someone's business card I found laying around that said in essence: "This pump and likely this station sucks. Pumps slow. Do not use. Go somewhere else"
Pet peeve? Slow gas pumps. Some say it's normal for fuel pumps to be slower in the winter. I don't buy it. I've pumped fuel many a times in -10 or more degree weather and the pumps worked just fine.

Oh me too! That, and slow drivers ... of which there are many in MA ...

I've had gas pumps do the same thing. Was trying to fill my truck with premium ... did the same thing, so I went in and pretty much said, "WTF is going on with these POS pumps"? Same deal - they don't care. Suggested another pump. That's what I was going to do anyway ... so I get my receipt for the $2.67 it pumped in 5 minutes, and head to the next pump. Same thing. I left rubber from the pump out to the street. So pissed!!

Not the first time that's happened too - seems to happen alot out here. Usually it's when the underground tanks are just about empty.
