Bought a new oil pan gasket for the 86 found out the pan bolts were hand tight that explains the oil loss.. didn't bother changing it today decided to tighten the home and power wash the underneath I came out from underneath the truck completely black and didn't feel like dealing with it anymore today. Then I repainted the roof I'll have pics tomorrow of what I'm doing with that.

Helped my buddy take off the front bumper on his junk 99 Silverado before he junks it. Pulled off all the plastic first since he only needed the chrome part of the bumper. When he text me about helping him last night he said that I could have his headliner for helping him.

Pulled the bumper off of the truck and I noticed that his plastic shield on the front was still intact. Mine was gone when I bought the truck so I asked if I could take that instead since his liner wasn't that great. Took the plastic one off and noticed the steel one wasn't bent at all so I grabbed it too.

I picked up a control arm for that '00 C1500 ball-joint nightmare. Going to tackle that Monday.

Went to go visit my buddy who was up from FL, and was headed back this afternoon. Massive t-storm rolled through. I had the Volvo doors deep! Shot a vid, but I was concentrating on not getting swamped, or t-boned by everyone panicking to get out of the gas station. Was total mayhem. If the SHTF, people in MA are screwed .... :uhoh:

Wish I had a better quality vid for ya'll, but until smart phones get down into the FREE range, I ain't getting one. Not sure what you'll be able to make out, but I was coming out of door-deep water.

Tried to edit out my F-bomb ... too much of a PITA, so viewer discretion ...

Received and installed a Range AFM disabler this afternoon. Took the truck for a ride and with the DIC set to show V4/V8 mode it never went into V4 mode at all.

At first glance I thought you just laid down blue painters tape and cut out stars and stuck em on top lol

In this politically correct time, I want nothing to do with that.

Truck hit 50k on the way down to Ft Pierce to go fishing yesterday. Before anyone says anything my backseat passenger took the picture.

Did a horrible lazy wash job this morning. I guess I'll have to break out the bucket and sponge since the foam and pressure washer didn't get it clean. Also took it to my mechanic and had them check the fluids, shocks, and grease the chassis. Looks like if I decide to change the transmission filter I'll be doing it myself. Mechanic wants $100 and the dealer wants $200 to do the 50k maintenance. My buddies want nothing, so whatever parts cost.

Let 'em talk Chevyguy.

I took this one no handed ...and bare-assed ... in a 15 mile-per-hour residential zone. :D

1994 Silverado from GM these new trucks suck I don't care what you guys think the 88-98gm trucks were probably the best built trucks of all time. I highly doubt anyone will ever build a better truck Sept maby Toyota.

I agree on the 88-98. They might not be the most capable, or nicest inside, but mine lasted a lot longer than the 900 I had. Stuff broke because it was old and worn out, not because it was a bad designed or low quality.
