i would definatley go with the manual, unless you plan on doing city driving or lots of stop and go, theres no reason not to get it

I have the manual with the Hurst short-throw shifter,LOVE IT!! Of course its not a daily driver,its strictly a play-toy!!!

Current mods are......Roto-Fab CAI and washer fluid relocation kit,along with an ADM air scoop,Kook's LT headers with hi-flow cats,CORSA cat-back exhaust system,and of course its tuned by Justin from Black Bear Performance.

Hope to do a cam before too long!

^{I ended up getting the one with the automatic transmission. The car had some features that the one with the Hurst shifter did not and I don't think I would like having a stick in Houston traffic.}

Would love to share pics if I could figure out how. It's the Crystal Red Tintcoat Metallic, black stripe package on hood and trunk lid, RS package, auto transmission, 20" polished aluminum wheels. Definitely a rocket!!

My vote would be 6-speed.. i had a 2000 Trans Am with a factory Hurst 6-Speed... still miss that car. I could never bring myself to buy a muscle car/sports car with an auto..just me

As others have mentioned, check out camaro5.com. I read over there quite often and end up learning a lot, makes me want to get a camaro!
