What a strange difference in price for the rear passenger door handle between a local autozone store and rockauto. Auto has it for about $44, and rockauto for $10 plus $8 shipping... $18 total isn't bad but I would hate to pay 80% more just for shipping.

 

Any other recommendations for a new part (no junkyards)?

10k mile's on the VW and it looks like garbage. I am highly disappointed in this paint quality and the amount of chip's the happen to make it all the way to the rear spoiler. Look's like my 8 y/o truck did with all the chip's in the paint. That and even the rim's are destroyed in places. Not happy at the moment.

Same here on the Wife's Cruze down to the rims. I plasti-dipped her rims black to hide it.

My cruze is pretty rough too paint chip wise..with the paint these days I don't think there is one manufacturer that is any better then the other. Dosent make it any less disheartening

From what I have read, most use the water based paints instead of what they used back whenever so it's not as durable. Though I though it was how many coats of clear that went on.

Paint quality on new stuff sucks. Not sure if the type of paint causes it or if they use less to save cost and some small amount of weight but whatever the reason it's junk. The front of my truck looks horrible when you get in close.

The paint of this 06 has less chips at 200k than the 09 did when I traded it at 30k. At least on the front end anyhow. That's no joke either I'm dead serious. I don't know what the manufacturers changed about the paint now, but it's terrible.

To join in, I have been disgusted with my car's paint durability, its chipped WAY worse 6 years old than the 00 Intrigue I traded in for it, it had 150k miles at the time, my car has 50K now. That's why I mentioned a while back every new purchase forward is getting a clear flim right away.

Clear bra is the only thing to do... It really is amazing though, my 2003 Silverado with over 150k of relatively careless driving had maybe a few chips on the front of the hood and my 13 has about 9 right on the bumper.

Watch the three about aliens, parts are scary/hilarious. Scary because people believe it, hilarious because people believe it.

 

One guy claims all the missing children's are given to aliens for their experiments, as a deal by the government for new tech.

 

Another is that while Aliens are so advanced that they can traverse the galaxy, make space their home and visit other planets, that we, a race that can't get past the friggin moon, have been foiling their invasions since 1945.
