Just did the zone 4.5" lift on my 2015 1500. Switched out my 33s with 35s and they work I haven't trimmed anything yet but it will need little trimming on the inner fender lining. Running 20x9 +1 fuels

FYI for people thinking of zone lifts. Rides better than stock

Here's my 2015, 6" Pro Comp lift, 35x12.50-20 Toyo Open Country MT, 20" Helo wheels. Just got the truck 2 weeks ago and absolutely love the way it rides compared to my '13 F150.

Looks good! And it looks way taller than my 6" BDS lift. I wonder why

Thanks man! I dunno, I parked it next to my buddy's '07 and he has a 6" BDS kit on it and we were almost dead level. He has same exact size Toyo's as me too.

Thank you I appreciate it. I'm super happy with the 4" although every now and again I think about adjusting it to 6" and after a solid minute say,"nah" lol. And I agree with you on the tires. I had toyo at2 extremes when I had my level but wanted something a bit more aggressive for the lift and stepped up to the rt's. I do have a pic of the side and I can always snap morec003814be668ded5421aaedb662a22aa.jpg

Even tho the fronts stick out about an inch it doesn't bother me and I don't notice it anymore. Of course more aggressive offsets will exaggerate things a bit.

love the look and stance. Do you happen to have the measurements front wheel well, back wheel well ,and the roof? Pretty much stuck on this lift and wheel combo. Edited by Steeks

Got mine back yesterday.

Zone 4.5" Lift

Method Racing "Standards", 20x9, +18mm offset

BFG AT KO2 285/65R20

Really haven't had any rubbing yet at all. I *thought* there was a little when backing out of a spot yesterday at full lock but it may have just been the road. No signs of it anywhere.

Hows the lift holding up? any Complaints?

Truck looks beautiful - love the color matched tow mirrors - this is like the setup I'd like to do - how noisy are the M/Ts? Trying to decide between those which have a great look and the little more conservative R/T

Yeah digging the look as well. Question, what did u use to black out the pillars?

I had a tint shop tint the front windows, ting the side markers on the two mirrors, and vinyl wrap the B pillars in black and the tow mirrors in white.

Love the Toyo M/T's. Had them on a lifted Titan before and was getting 40K miles out of them. Road noise is minimal given the aggressive tread. Plus these trucks are so quiet inside.

    • I see where you’re going and I can appreciate that. Statistics can be misleading because of the word average. They say statistics show the average cost of a new vehicle is about 50k. The average monthly payment is close to 1000 dollars a month. That’s statistics for you. I know very few people who pay that.
    • same here , i have a 2020 first gen and the cost to repair these engines far excedes replacement
    • But Grumpy I did show several subdivisions that had homes starting in the 170K range. If you bought a Townhouse or Condo you could go cheaper. Same with a car 3000 dollars in the 70s translates to around 20K today. There are several models at that price. You actually get more for the money. In the 70s I drove a 3000$ car bought a 28K home and made 4.50 per hour. Thank goodness for overtime. Today I could buy a 170K house drive a 20K car and make 25 dollars an hour operating the same machine today. The difference the house, car, machine would be better and have AC. And I wouldn’t be taxed on overtime. And statistically your wife works too. Easing the burden. I thought we agreed to disagree. I brought receipts earlier, showing examples. I think you’re more stubborn than me. I was done with this debate.
    • I’m definitely interested to hear the end result here.
    • My 2025 Silverado 1500 had to receive a brand-new engine (long block) under warranty last month at only around 16,500 miles. Before the replacement, the truck repeatedly displayed "Engine Oil Level Low" warnings, even though the Oil Life Monitor still showed around 50% remaining after about 6,000 miles since my last oil change. After seeing the warning several times, I checked the dipstick with the engine cold, and the oil level was completely normal. The next day, the message escalated to "Add Engine Oil." At first, I assumed it was just a faulty oil level sensor, so I brought the truck to the dealership. After inspecting the engine, they found internal cylinder wall scoring and ultimately replaced the entire long block under warranty. Before this happened, I was planning to install a 4-inch lift and suspension upgrade on my truck. After needing a new engine at just 16,500 miles, I honestly don't see the point anymore. I also contacted GM to ask whether my vehicle qualified for a buyback, but I was informed that it does not at this time. Anyway, this experience has left me with serious concerns about the long-term reliability of this engine. I sincerely hope NHTSA expands the current investigation or recall to include 2025 model and performs a thorough inspection of affected vehicles. My biggest concern is that these engines may fail shortly after the powertrain warranty expires. If GM truly stands behind this engine, then at the very least, please consider extending the powertrain warranty to 10 years for affected owners. That would go a long way toward restoring customer confidence.
