Truck is looking sharp @TxJose!

I live in the area Mission Tx; just curious where did you get your BDS installed? I've been looking into a Zone 6.5 or Mcghauhys 7-9 and would like a reputable shop to do my work.

I got mine done in Amarillo since that's where im working right now... As far as a shop in the valley i wouldn't look anywhere else then Truck Toyz. They are across the street from clark chevy on old 83 and 10th i think. They have some very knowledgeable staff and know what they are doing. Call them up and ask around what they recommend.

That is where i was going to get mine done when i got time off work to go home but i got impatient and went for it.

Another place to go is Horacio with Big H Customs on Old 83 about 1/2 block west of Ware Road. It's the place with the huge lifted Excursion out front. He's been doing lifts for 20+ years. Might help compare pricing, lift brands etc...

Possibly also a good place to go now.

Back when i was in the scene Big H was just starting out and was just a drop shop but maybe now they do lifts as well.

It's not hard to talk to people at shops and know if they are full of it or actually know what they are talking about.

Love your setup man!

How is the McGauhy kit behaving? Read through this whole thread and over the first pages a few negative comments were thrown over this kit. But I have compared and noticed its the only kit that drops the crossmembers a full 7" to maintain great cv angles. Overall people prefer BDS and Zone but If Iam correct the 6 and 6.5" kits only drop the crossmember 4 and 4.5".

Thanks guys will definitely look into these places for quotes. I got the leveling kit done One Stop Shop from the Bert Ogden dealership recommendation; but at work my buddy's all go to TRUCK TOYZ for their lifts. Just gathering info to be ready when the savings add up for lift/tires/install

I went with the 8inch Super lift king coilover rear king shocks. Threw some 22x12 fuel forged wheels on there and 35 nitto ridgegrapplers

Im loving it drives great definitely took a hit mpg wise but not as bad as I thought.

I really don't know the specifics but I love this kit, and the guy that does my alignments says he's never seen a lifted truck keep alignment like mine. I even bought a lifetime alignment and it has yet to be out. It's really tough as well. I almost hit a deer one night and ran off the road at 50+ mph and hit a ditch and I was sure that it bent something but it didn't. I really have not had one bad thing happen with this lift. The only thing I wish was different was I wish it had a choice for high performance shocks. But I can't find anything for a 7"lift.

Curious to know if anyone with a BDS lift or zone lift that also has amp power steps installed what the new height the step is at with lift installed. I run a RC 2" level the steps are ~10" when the step is out. I'd like it higher up or more off the ground.

Anyone have comparisons of a zone 4.5" and BDS 4/6" lifts side by side? Some pics look deceiving as far as how high actually truck sits. I'm 50-50 on going with a zone 4.5" or bds 6" i can't decide :(
