285/65R18 (32.6") or 275/70R18 (33.2"). Others will chime in, but I'm going for safe here.

I put big ko2 285/65 on my stock black rims, 18"...love them...

I had BFG KO2s on my old truck, they're a great tire. Just really not needed in the setup I'm gonna do. Pretty heavy too.

So, I may do Nitto Terra Grapplers G2 or Coopers. Really can't decide. I was thinking about these wheels. What y'all think?b5e3c6b9cebee28d59113162a7d19545.jpg

You might check out the weights on tire rack, I might be wrong but when I was shopping I thought the Terra 2s were heavier than the bfg ko2...but I could be mistaken...I went with the bfg and love them

Here is my 2017 with a 2 inch zone level and 285/65r18 BFG KO2's. Plan on switching to boss or fox coil overs at some point.

That might be the most level truck ever posted on this forum.

 Why did you down grade tires?

Tyler

To say I put the highest rated and most popular all-terrain tire on my truck and saying I am downgrading, is a little bit of a troll move, but I'll play along. 1) the duratracs were too aggressive for me, I didn't like being able to feel the knobs of the tread when I was turning and at low speed. 2) I wanted larger tires, after I leveled it, the 265 wranglers were just too small.

To your comment though, I'm not bashing the duratracs, they are great tires if you are off road more than I am...I am basically only off road during hunting season...

I am in no way trolling or trying to argue, but they arent the highest rated, and if they are, its because they are "the most popular". Look into reviews of users post 25k miles. BFG KO2's are great looking tires (despite their tiny sizes), but they dont wear well. Most guys ive talked to that run them on company trucks see them wear super quickly. And for their price point, they dont perform better than their much cheaper competitors. I am just giving my two sense.

Hello guys, i have a 2015 sierra all terrain double cab and im going to install either a 2" or 2.5" rough country levelling kit with the 285/60r20 duratracs i have purchaced on the stock at rims. I am fine with going with the 2" level but wondering if the 2.5" provides any more clearance to prevent rubbing. Im thinking the 2" level will run the tires fine but want to see what peoples opinions are, thanks

To each their own... but to say 'despite their tiny sizes'? Dude, are you series? My truck came with 265/65 18, I put on 285/65 18... not sure where you are looking at tire sizes, but where income from the bfg's are larger... and the exact tire size I wanted...so you can have your opinion...but, at least support it by logic and facts... or not, but I'm done talking about this topic with you. Have a blessed day.

Everyone I know running the old KOs get 60K if they rotate. Don't know about the KO2s though.

What tire are you running that's superior?
