Hello guys looks like I am several months behind getting into my 2014 Sierra crew cab SLT Z71 4x4 I just took delivery last night. I like some others here am not sure how to protect my trucks bed finish. I may just pick up a mat and see how that goes. I have seen the prep that they do when they apply Line-X they have to ruin the paint completely I think I might have heartburn with that procedure LOL. What is this bedrug thing?

I would love to do a spray in liner in my new 2014 sierra but a couple times a year I haul my snowmobile in the back and with a spray liner the carbides will tear right through the spray liner material I am thinking. I like the new weathertech liner but im afraid that may be to rubbery for the skis to slide across so I may be stuck with a plastic drop liner. any thoughts??

Line-x is virtually indestructible, your snowmobile tracks wont do squat to it. Its rated to take pressure up to 10,000 pounds of concentrated pressure. I had to sign a statement of understanding, stating i understood once the Line-x was applied it was virtually unremovable.

Here's my Line-X. Had it done a few days ago. I wouldn't recommend another bedliner. Do it right the first time around:)

Bedrug is what I have on order. Should be here next week. I had one on my Tundra and loved it. Hauled everything on it from auto parts to ATV's and it cleaned up easily. Plus delicate furniture or fragile items won't get scratched or scuffed. Added bonus is that tailgating for football games turns my truck bed into a small living space.

Anyone with a Bedrug and a Bak Tonneau cover?

 

I've had a bedrug installed since shortly after purchasing the truck in September. I just installed a BakFlip F1 on Friday and don't know where to cut into the Bedrug for the drain tubes. Anyone with a Bedrug and drain tube installed have a good picture of where I should be looking? I'd prefer to not have to peel back some of the Bedrug to find out.

 

 

 

Love the Bedrug btw! Perfect for what I wanted in that it replicates what a trunk would normally feel like. I won't think twice about leaving my golf clubs in the bed for the duration of the summer like I typically do.
