How in the world does GM have 2 display screens in the dash and nothing indicates when 4WD is engaged? One of the annoying things I noticed when test driving a '14. I mean, totally ridiculous.

Is there really nothing to tell you if your in 4WD, Auto or 2WD? What happens if you put it in 4WD and forget about it? Is there no indicators on the dash like my 2002 Silverado?

A remote start that works from more then 100 feet away. Aftermarket ones are good for 8x's that. I had one installed in my 2002 Silverado for $189.00.

FM Radio that works.

Heated seats that work with remote.

Light under the hood.

Power locking tailgate.

Rear AC Vents in rear of Crew Cab.

110 ac outlets that can actually charge a laptop, wattage is way too low.

Some time ago an underhood light was standard on many pickups. Then it was mysteriously deleted from GM trucks. I specifically like the version attached to a cord on a reel that could be pulled out and used in an emergency, such as changing a flat tire.

I also think that rear window defroster should be standard on every pickup, no exception. It is a safety feature and safety should not be compromised to boost profits. It is standard equipment on virtually all passenger cars and SUVs, so why should pickup trucks be excluded?

All trucks should have differential drain plugs, and transmission pans should have a drain plug also.

The remote start on mine works from anywhere. OnStar app!
